The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Big Week Ahead

Coming up on The Young and the Restless - specifically on October 19 - the level of drama intensifies on TV's top-rated soap opera.

The long-running daytime drama delivers a week loaded with immense suspense and a few mind-blowing twists that will change some of the characters' lives forever.

Read on for more spoilers on The Young and the Restless.

out-of-the-ashes-1.jpgThe Clear Springs plot, which has become one of the central angles on The Young and the Restless, will reach its climax this Friday when a shocking tragedy strikes at the spa, resort and upscale shopping center that has been a source of contention between the Newmans and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Due to faulty construction, the building crumbles to the ground, trapping many friends and enemies, and threatening the lives of both families.

As the wounded are pulled out from the rubble, lives remain in peril and rivals are forced to unite and bystanders perform heroic measures.

The cast and crew of The Young and the Restless, including stunt professionals, have put in great efforts to make this tragedy realistic. In fact, the scene used a set with a bigger soundstage than usual, including more than 50 extras.

The exciting episode leads to an important question, of course?: Who survives the catastrophe?

Victims whose lives may or may not be on the line include Jack and Sharon (Sharon Case), along with her ex, Nick (Joshua Morrow), who are all trapped together.

Meanwhile, JT (Thad Luckin-bill) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) are caught underground with the elderly, while Lauren (Tracey Bregman), Paul (Doug Davidson) and Maggie (Tammy Lauren) await rescue as they tend to an injured child.

"Music has changed so, so much," Iglesias said after taping his appearance on Thursday. "It's tough out there, so you need any outlet to put your music out there."

Joshua Morrow Speaks on The Young and the Restless Character, Angle

Joshua Morrow PhotoAs The Young and the Restless heads into its fall season, Joshua Morrow spoke with Sony Pictures about the direction of his character.

"Now he is trying to raise two young children, Noah and Summer, and look out for Phyllis' (Michelle Stafford) teenage son, Daniel (Michael Graziadei),” Morrow said. “He is also trying to get back into the swing of things at work. Nick is trying to figure his life out. It's difficult but he is trying to make things work. "

Nick is also struggling with memory loss, along with the feelings that were stirred up when he and his former wife, Sharon (Sharon Case), inadvertently locked lips while trapped in a vault. These are interesting times, Morrow continued, as Nick is torn between two women and the aftermath of his near-death encounter.

"I would say that he is not nearly confused as he was,” The Young and the Restless actor said. “Over time, he has realized that his feelings for Phyllis were very real. He came back and everyone was telling him what is life is like and he doesn't believe it because he only remembers his life with Sharon. He starts to see that his life with Phyllis is the real deal and remembers why he fell in love with her.

She is this amazing wife and mother. He hasn't decided, with his heart, that he should be with Phyllis because of his feelings for Sharon but he is moving in that direction."

The Young and the Restless Spoiler: A Messy Divorce to Come

The super couple on The Young and The Restless, Victor and Nikki, aren't gonna be together much longer.

The union will dissolve in a divorce on October 5 - and it won't be pretty.

Melody Thomas Scott and Eric Braeden "We start out trying to be decent to each other, but things don't turn out that way. It's really pretty brutal," says actress Melody Thomas Scott, now in her 28th year as Nikki. "At one point Eric Braeden [Victor] and I just threw out the script and went for it. We're both Aries, and when we get going in fight scenes, we'll kill each other unless someone yells 'Cut.'"

The marriage started going badly a few months back when ex-stripper Nikki made an unsuccessful run for the Wisconsin state senate. She then slept with her campaign manager, which sent control-freak Victor over the edge. Naturally.

However this isn't their first divorce, and it probably won't be the last.

"Let's face it, they're addicted to each other," Thomas Scott says. "Nikki is the only woman who can make Victor this angry.

"We love doing love scenes. It's fun. You get to make out with somebody. All the time. There are no ramifications. There's no, 'You didn't call me. How come you didn't call me?' You don't have to deal with that. And you're married." — In an interview with co-star Peter Bergman (Jack), Digest, 10/16/01
