Soap opera veteran Roscoe Born returns to The Young and the Restless on March 31.
The actor will reprise the role of Tom Fisher, Kevin's abusive dad. Because this guy was shot dead by a pistol-packing John Abbott in 2005, Tom will be returning from to haunt his poor demented son.
Does Phyllis ever look back and feel she is responsible for breaking up Sharon and Nick?
This insightful question was posed to Michelle Stafford by Michael Fairman during a recent interview.
Here's what The Young and the Restless star had to say in response:
Personally, sometimes I have an opinion on the way a story is told. But, one person does not make up for the all the reasons marriages fail. If Phyllis and Nick fall apart, it would not be Sharon who broke it up. I am talking as Michelle. Things break up for many, many reasons in life. Relationships fall apart not because one person stole them away.
That’s silly, and Phyllis doesn’t feel that way. Phyllis and Nick got together because the loss Sharon and Nick had with Cassie was too great for them, and they couldn’t get together. Then Brad came into the picture, and Sharon went to him for support. Nick went to Phyllis for support and he fell in love with her, and that’s kind of what happened.

As fans of The Young and the Restless found out today, Ashley Abbott is pregnant... with Victor Newman's child.
Actress Eileen Davidson told The New York Daily News she was initially unsure about the storyline.
"At first I went, 'Huh?'" said Ashley's portrayer, pictured. "But then I decided I like it. It's unexpected."
Unlike most actresses, Davidson added that she's looking forward to wearing a fake pregnancy belly.
"How much longer do I have to wear a pad at my age?" she joked, adding that if The Young and the Restless addresses her age, "I'll kick their a$$."

On The Young and the Restless, Cane wants Delia.
Chloe and Billy won't have it.
What are the biological parents to do? Get engaged. Naturally.
"She knows he doesn't really want to marry her," Elizabeth Hendrickson (pictured) told Soap Opera Weekly.
Billy Miller also chimed in on the storyline:
"Billy is a selfish schtupper, and Chloe is a selfish psycho. But selfish people make for good drama."
As fans of The Young and the Restless know, Nick and Sharon recenty made love in the cabin.
Was Sharon Case, the actress that plays one half of this couple, excited about that development? To quote Sarah Palin: you bet'cha!
Here's what Case said to Michael Fairman about the angle:
I loved the storyline because it has so much conflict in it. I can speak for the actors that nobody wanted to see Nick and Sharon get back together and live happily ever after in one episode. Our audience wants to see them together, and so do we, but not all in one episode. It misses the point.
I love that Nick and Sharon slept together and they are playing Sharon and Nick’s feelings for each other. Because for years, where was Sharon and Nick’s feelings for each other? Why weren’t they ever in the same room with each other? What happened? Well, we are back, and that does not mean Sharon and Nick should get together tomorrow, but we should be in the same room together, because there is conflict.
In my opinion, this is what should have been playing out all along.
