Erin Sanders has been cast on The Young and the Restless as Eden, River's daughter. The young actress is best known for her role as Quinn on Zoey 101. Yes, that's the show that starred Jamie Lynn Spears.

Tonya Lee Williams is cominng back to the show in the role of Olivia Barber Hastings. She hasn't been seen since dropping in to assist Neil after Dru's death over a year ago on the show.
The actress hasn't signed a long-term contract, but we've learned that she'll be back in late September for a bit.
A major confrontation kicks off The Young and the Restless next week...
Christel Khalil shocked fans of The Young and the Restless when she left in 2005.
“I left because of stress,” the actress said in a new interview. “I was so young; I wasn’t able to handle it. I needed the break – I needed the chance to relax and do what I wanted. Besides doing a guest spot on ‘Malcolm in the Middle,’ I wasn’t doing anything.”
Even though Davetta Sherwood did a decent job in the role of Lily Winters, those in charge of The Young and the Restless always wanted Christel to return.
“They asked me to come back a few times, but I said no. After about a year, they asked again. I’d had a year off; I felt rested and ready to go back. Plus, I was really missing everyone,” Khalil said.
To millions of viewers, Lily is a breath of fresh air in the cut throat soap opera world. She actually possesses ethics and compassion!
“I like that Lily has morals and values. She’s not out to hurt anyone. Even through this whole Chloe thing, she finds a way to relate and have compassion for her situation," the star said. "Lily and (her father) Neil are just about two of the only characters who are just nice people – they are really honorable.”
On Monday and Friday, The Young and the Restless is pre-empted today for the U.S. Open Tennis. On the other days...

The actress, who originated the role of Ashley on The Young and the Restless in 1982, will be returning to Genoa City for good on September 26.
The actress was let go in late 2006, but was snapped up by The Bold and the Beautiful, portraying the same characters on that series. She has crossed over a few times between the two shows.
"She's going to have a huge story," a source at The Young and the Restless told Soap Opera Digest.
Kevin Schmidt just joined The Young and the Restless. He recently talked with Soap Opera Digest about the role of Noah Newman.
Soap Opera Digest: How are you enjoying The Young and the Restless?
Kevin Schmidt: I'm having a blast. I'm still getting used to the motions, but I feel like I'm just getting comfortable. Sharon (Case, Sharon) and Joshua (Morrow, Nick) have made it their job to make me feel comfortable, and all of the crew is taking care of me. I'm paying attention and doing my thing.
Digest: How did you get involved in acting?
Schmidt: I actually wanted nothing to do with it, believe it or not. I'm originally from Kansas and have two brothers. My older brother was watching TV and said, "I can do that." He did a lot of commercials and print work in New York. Then my mom and my other two brothers went out to L.A., while I stayed behind and was a normal kid for two years. Then one summer my mom was like, "Why don't you come out and try it?" So I came out when I was about 9 years old and auditioned for a movie called Mind Rage and got it. I was on set where my character had to shoot his mom with a pistol [laughs]. I was hooked! I got to go to work and play make-believe. It was the perfect job.
We haven't seen the last of Michael Gross on The Young and the Restless. Not by a long shot!
The veteran actor, who showed up earlier this month as the father of Michael Baldwin, has signed a two-year contract with the show. We can't wait to see what this means for his relationship with his son and the rest of Genoa City.
Going into her current story line on The Young and the Restless, Sharon Case knew it would be difficult for Jack, Sharon, Nick and Phyllis to play nice when they decided to start a magazine together. Case, who has played Sharon Abbott on the soap opera since 1994, told Tulsa World that’s part of the fun.
“You put these characters in situations they normally wouldn’t be in and it’s fun to see what happens," the actress said.
In the interview, the actree elaborated on the motivations of these The Young and the Restless characters.
“They were hoping for the best with the conflicts they knew existed. But those conflicts didn’t outweigh the idea of creating the magazine. They can see the positive points of their partnership, even though Sharon and Phyllis do not get along. Sharon looks forward to spending time with Nick and with Jack.”
Eventually, however, someone is gonna to have to come out on top. When that time comes, Case assures fans, there will be fireworks.
“There are lots of conflicts coming up – between Sharon and Phyllis, and also between Nick and Jack, and even Sharon and Jack.”
