Cast members from The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless will take part in the 5th Annual “Evening with the Stars.” The event is planned for Saturday, October 11, 2008.

“Evening with the Stars” benefits the Desi Geestman Foundation, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer. For more information on The Desi Geestman Foundation, or to buy tickets to this year’s visit the “Evening with the Stars" website now.

Raya Meddine has been let go from The Young and the Restless.

No final airdate has been announced for the character of Sabrina, but a few clips/The Young and the Restless spoilers make it seem as though Sabrina is involved in a tragedy that will unfold around the time of the Charity Ball.

Meddinea had signed a three-year contract in February, but Sabrina never really caught on as a character. Vewers commonly expressed their disappoinment in her in The Young and the Restless forums.

Judge David Young makes his acting debut on The Young and the Restless this Friday, July 11.

The judge will portray the character "David," a chiropractor who plays poker in a high stakes game alongside iconic characters Brad Carlton (Don Diamont), David Chow (Vincent Irizarry) and Skye (Laura Stone).

On the June 20 episode of The Young and the Restless, Victor Newman married Sabrina.

Eva Marcille, winner of the third cycle of America's Next Top Model, opened up to Soapcentral.com about her new character on The Young and the Restless.

"My character's name is Tyra," Marcille said of the role that debuted on June 25. "I had a daughter as a very young age. We're from Seattle and I kind of fell on hard times and now I've moved to Genoa City, where my only family is Devon. I come there trying to seek refuge… and there's drama."

Based on rumors and spoilers, Tyra sounds like a potential love interest for Neil Winters. However, at last check, Neil already had a girlfriend. So, does that mean Marcille's alter ego is a homewrecker?

Not according to Eva: "She's a good girl at heart!"

On the July 23 episode of The Young and the Restless, Daniel and Amber seek help from an attention whore posing as a professional psychologist: Dr. Drew Pinsky!

As fans of the show know, Amber went crazy after seeing a photo of Daniel partying with a groupie in Dublin. As a result of this conflict, she bedded Adrian Korbel.

Eventually, this all leads to Amber being dumped... which subsequently leads to a call to Dr. Drew. Don't hold your breath for him to actually help, though, Amber.

Dr. Drew will do anything for attention. He'll appear on The Young and the Restless in late July.
