Rumors are swirling that Donna Mills will be taking on the role of f J.T.'s mother on The Young and The Restless. Mills is best known for her role on Knots Landing as the infamous Abby Fairgate Ewing.

As Daytime Confidential surmises, the actress could seriously spice up the J.T./Victoria storyline. We also don't know much about J.T.'s family. Isn't it about time we did?

This week, on The Young and the Restless...

Gloria gets so aggravated at seeing Jill and Jeffrey, she decides to play a little trick on them: shespikes their coffees with hot sauce. The problem with this supposedly harmless course of action?

Jeffrey is allergic to hot peppers and "he goes into anaphylactic shock," Judith Chapman said to Soap Opera Weekly.

Next week on The Young and the Restless, Nick gets into a car accident. As a result, his memory actually returns.

"Phyllis goes to the hospital and he says, 'I'm fine,' but he's being distant," Michelle Stafford (pictured), who plays Nick's current wife, said to The New York Daily News. "Phyllis is thinking, 'Oh, he hit his head again. He's forgotten me.'"

Ever since Nick lost his memory in a plane crash two years ago, that's not a bad assumption.

"He says, 'Go away. I'm fine.' So they all go away and he sees this little girl, who reminds him of Cassie - and his memory comes back."
