On Christmas Day, The Bold and the Beautiful will pay tribute to the late Darlene Conley (Sally). The actress died in January.

"We are rerunning a The Bold and the Beautiful Christmas classic that originally aired on 1-2/24/03," said a show rep. "It is the Christmas after Macy died. Stephanie reaches out to Sally with a locket. Sally and Stephanie remember their unique history together, and Stephanie helps Sally move through her sadness.

Sally arrives at the Forresters at the end of the episode dressed as Santa, with the locket around her neck, and leads the group in 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.'"

Mykel Shannon Jenkins is an optimist.

Even after his character was killed off General Hospital, the actor never got down about himself or his career.

“When I was leaving [General Hospital] everybody was feeling bad, but I was excited, because I was excited about tomorrow, about the next story that I was actually going to be able to tell,” Jenkins recently said.

That opportunity turned out to be Detective Charlie Baker, son of Lt. Bradley Baker (Dan Martin).  The character first appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful on November 21.

“I like him, he's got a little temper,” Jenkins said of his character.  “He has a passion for women and he's trying to find a way to be a man, the kind of man with status, respect - outside of his daddy's shadow.  He's extremely proud to be a Baker.

He's just like any other man who's trying to find his way.  There's a need to be loved in him, but a fear that a woman might not be able to understand.”

With the holidays approaching, here's what you can look forward to on The Bold and the Beautiful this week:

• Stephanie is a Grinch: she cancels Christmas.

• The shooter is revealed.

• Stephen receives a proposition from Stephanie.

• Eric has a special Christmas present for Donna (Jennifer Gareis).

Holiday-themed episodes are planned to close December for all four CBS soap operas: The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, As The World Turns and Guiding Light.

On The Young and the Restless, as a snowstorm strands the residents of Genoa City with unlikely partners, David surprises Nikki with an unexpected proposal. Victor turns the tables on Nikki and Kay, while Sharon makes a decision about her future with Jack, who gets a surprise visit from his sister, Ashley.

Meanwhile, on The Bold and the Beautiful, Christmas is a time for soul searching for Stephanie, while Eric tries to bring his family together for the holiday. Brooke arrives, ready to forgive Stephanie for her part in putting Brooke's father in prison - and the Forrester family happily reunites.

Let's head over to As The World Turns: Gwen and Will receive the ultimate Christmas present in the form of their new daughter. The Hughes family gathers to celebrate the holiday in Bob's hospital room and pray for a Christmas miracle, while Jack isn't feeling goodwill towards man when he warns Sam to stay away from his family.

John McCook recently talked with fans of The Bold and the Beautiful via an online chat.

Regarding his character's relationship with Stephanie (Susan Flannery), McCook said: "Eric will never stop being connected to Stephanie but he does not like who he is when he is with her anymore. He's happier with someone who is not committing felonious acts and manipulating relationships all the time.

Eric thinks Donna is wonderful. He loves her. He is surprised by that and happy to be spending this time with her."

It's unclear how long Todd McKee will be back on The Bold and the Beautiful. But he did find time to speak with Soap Opera Digest on the subject at least...

Q: How was your visit to The Bold and the Beautiful?
Todd McKee: It was like returning to a dream. I'd remembered it as a dream from 17 years ago. Walking in, I was like, "This really was part of my life. This really did happen!" But they're all there, the same characters and actors.

Q: Except Donna and Felicia! What is it like working with a new pair?
McKee: It's actually weirder seeing the other actors, who have been here for 17 years. It's like, "Here we all are again!" Everyone's aged gracefully, but is a little older. I'm sure they thought the same about me.

Q: Have you adjusted to being back now?
McKee: Yes. It was so weird. Everything was exactly the same, yet I couldn't figure out how to get to the set! I walked those halls for two-and-a-half years, but I was completely lost. Then, after a while, it was like an old shoe that fit perfectly. I finally got my acting legs up and running, so I feel more comfortable.
