Jacqueline MacInnes Wood wasn't sure what to expect when she came onto the scene of The Bold and the Beautiful in the role of Steffy Forrester.

CBS.com recently asked the actress what it's been like so far on the show. Her reply...

Absolutely amazing. I love it. Every day I give myself a moment to just think, "Wow, you're living your dream. You're doing what you want and you're in L.A. and doing it on your own. It's crazy. How I started, it just happened so fast. I don't even know how long I've been here now--I think it's been a few months. I got in [to town] and The Bold and the Beautiful was actually my first audition in town. I know, I'm really lucky and it's crazy because I just said I'm going to come down here with the money I have in my pocket.

I knew nobody; I just did it. It was definitely something I wanted to do. I came down here and I got myself situated for two or three days and I said I want to start auditioning. My agent that I got here a few months beforehand, [helped me] book a lead on a Disney pilot. It didn't go [anywhere] so then it got me my agents here and I said, "Let's go; I'm ready."

My first audition was this and that was the fourth day I was here. I'm still in shock about it. It's different from Toronto because you know all the casting directors. You know everybody because it's much smaller. Here, basically my friend left that day back to Toronto, they were just in for two days. I dropped them off at the airport and I thought, "Ok, where am I going?" I did my audition, I didn't know what role I was going in for, they keep that really hush-hush.

So I did my first audition, and knowing it was my first I was very prepared and after I came out I was like, "Ok, I rocked it." Whether I get it or not, I'm not going to say I'm going to book it but I felt good about it. Then I left and right when I got home I got a call saying we want you back tomorrow for a callback and I said, "Ok." So that's good, I'm in L.A. and I got my first callback.

And it's cool because it's in my history now. I at least got a callback. It's set in stone. I thought that was really cool and the next thing I knew, "You have a screentest" and after that it was, "You need to fly back to Canada and you need to get a visa and do all that stuff."

It was insane for that week. I was just waiting back in Windsor and we're three hours ahead, and finally I got the call and the next day came along and I had to book my flight last minute because I had to wait for my paperwork. I took a late flight out and by the next day I was shooting three episodes that day.

While his release from Days of Our Lives earlier this year was a shock to fans, Brandon Beemer wasted no time signing on for another role.

He began on The Bold and the Beautiful a few weeks ago and recently chatted with Soap Opera Weekly about the role:

Weekly: Does Owen have real feelings for Donna?
Beemer: Yeah, he's definitely into her. Seeing her with everybody against her and the Forresters saying that she's this, this and this, Owen has had a chance to get to know her a little bit. What he has gotten to know, he really likes. It wasn't what he was expecting.

Weekly: What about Felicia? Is she a romantic option at all?
Beemer: I don’t know. I don't want to get in trouble [by saying anything]!

Weekly: And a lot of emotional stuff riding on the line for Owen...
Beemer: ...which he wasn't expecting.

Weekly: He just came to town to shake down Marcus.
Beemer: Yeah. He was curious: "What is it with these Forresters? What's going on? I want to go check this out."

If you think Katie discovering her pregnancy on The Bold and the Beautiful was a surprise, imagine how shocked Katie's friends and family will be!

"Nick's chin hits the floor of the boat and slowly cracks his face," Jack Wagner (pictured, Nick) told Soap Opera Weekly about the story line.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has appeared on approximately two dozen episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful so far.

She recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the experience. Here are excerpts of the interview:

Digest: How did your The Bold and the Beautiful job come about?
MacInnes Wood: I'm from Canada and I was living in Toronto when I booked a Disney pilot a few months prior, so that got me an agent in L.A. The pilot didn't go, but I moved here, unpacked and I was here less than a week when I went to The Bold and the Beautiful.

Digest: That must've been a little daunting for you?
MacInnes Wood: Oh, it was! I didn't even know my way around yet when I drove over to CBS. It was insane. Plus, I didn't know I was going to read for Taylor's daughter.

Digest: Had you watched The Bold and the Beautiful before?
MacInnes Wood: Oh, yeah. Everybody at my school knew Ridge, Taylor Brooke and Stephanie.

Digest: So, the audition must've went well?
MacInnes Wood: I thought I did a solid job and it was my first audition ever in L.A., so I didn't think I would ever get a callback. But when I drove home, they called and said they wanted to see me the next day to meet with [Executive Producer/Head Writer] Brad Bell. I went and there were other people in his office this time when I did the audition again. Then I heard I got the part. They said they didn't even want to do a screen test, but the network wanted a screen test, so that's when I met Texas [Battle, Marcus] for the first time. I finally got the part, then it was a chore getting my visa [sighs].
