The actress that stars as Felicia on The Bold and the Beautiful sat down to talk with TV Guide Canada this week. She spoke on the state of the industry, her relationship with former As the World Turns star
Tom Eplin and more.
Here are highlights from the interview:
On actors taking pay cuts: "I think we’re all lucky to have a job in this economy. As volatile as this business is, we all have to do our part to keep these shows on the air. Pay cuts aren’t fun. They may require you to change your lifestyle, but at least we have a job."
On Tom Eplin: "Tom would come back for a dollar to work with me - and I know that for a fact. I don’t know if that will happen though. Some would argue that our show has that age range covered, but we also need more talented men on our show who aren’t related to the ladies."
On the Daytime Emmys possibly not being telecast: "I think I’m still in shock. I wasn’t submitting myself this year but I’m really sad that my colleagues who do have material to compete won’t be able to be recognized on-air."
Ross Moss has been a cast member on The Bold and the Beautiful for decades. Literally!
He recently spoke with Michael Fairman about a couple of story lines on the show:
The Ridge/Rick feud and storyline is really heating up and getting interesting. Rick is doing some reprehensible things!
Yeah, he is. Rick is getting obnoxiously devious, and he is a spoiled brat who needs to be put in his place.
The show had gone back and forth, and back and forth with Ridge, either between Taylor or Brooke. Wasn’t that frustrating for you?
In the last few years I have always said, “I have got to move on to something else other than Brooke and Taylor. You are not letting Ridge and Brooke have a go at it here. You never have for 20 years.” They just tease the fans to the point where I don’t think the fans really cared if Brooke and Ridge got back together, because the tease was over.
Now I find when we are back together, and the characters are actually married again, that I am actually enjoying it.

The character of Rick is heavily involved on The Bold and the Beautiful these days.
As such, actor Kyle Lowder recently sat down to discuss life on the drama with Soap Opera Weekly. Here's an excerpt:
Weekly: Rick really thinks he has everyone where he wants them and is sitting pretty.
Kyle Lowder: Oh, yeah, he thinks he is. I know a lot of people are looking at this story and saying, "I can't stand Rick; he's so whiny, he's so bratty." It's too easy for people to see him being whiny and bratty and trying to manipulate to get what he wants. I want people to be reminded that, in Rick's head, this is [from] a lifetime of pain and suffering. I'm not saying it's justified; I'm saying that it goes deeper.
I want people to try and look deeper as to why Rick is doing this. It's not just a little brat trying to get what he wants. This is an adult who is really trying to ostracize Ridge from the family, from the company, from everything. He's not just trying to break up his mommy and a guy he hates. I am not defending him, but everything he is doing right now is to try and get Ridge ostracized.
The gloves come off between Rick and Ridge next week on The Bold and the Beautiful, among other developments...

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful will soon understand why we're quoting the Three's Company's theme song.
Given the unusual circumstances surrounding Stephanie, Donna and Eric, the latter invites the former two ladies to move in with him tomorrow. Should make for an interesting roommate situation.
"It's a rather medieval way to handle the problem — and someone is sure to wind up in the tower — but it's the best Eric can do at the moment," John McCook, who plays Eric, told TV Guide. "He's got a business to run. The economy is crazy. His children are all fighting. He doesn't know what else to do. He loves both women — for completely different reasons — so he thinks the way to solve the situation is for them to play Jack, Chrissy and Janet."
The Soup, an hilarious series on E! that makes fun of all things TV-related, took a great shot at The Bold and the Beautiful this week.
