As if Ohio wasn't in the news enough these days for Presidential election purposes, the swing state will be home to an upcoming Sharon Case autograph session, as well.

Here are details about when and where fans of The Young and the Restless can meet this actress:

When: Saturday, Decemeber 6, 2008, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Where: Giant Eagle Department Store at 1394 Ety Shops Way in Lancaster, Ohio.

Just show up, wait in line and get an autograph from the actress. It's as simple as that.

Going into her current story line on The Young and the Restless, Sharon Case knew it would be difficult for Jack, Sharon, Nick and Phyllis to play nice when they decided to start a magazine together. Case, who has played Sharon Abbott on the soap opera since 1994, told Tulsa World that’s part of the fun.

“You put these characters in situations they normally wouldn’t be in and it’s fun to see what happens," the actress said.

In the interview, the actree elaborated on the motivations of these The Young and the Restless characters.

“They were hoping for the best with the conflicts they knew existed. But those conflicts didn’t outweigh the idea of creating the magazine. They can see the positive points of their partnership, even though Sharon and Phyllis do not get along. Sharon looks forward to spending time with Nick and with Jack.”

Eventually, however, someone is gonna to have to come out on top. When that time comes, Case assures fans, there will be fireworks.

“There are lots of conflicts coming up – between Sharon and Phyllis, and also between Nick and Jack, and even Sharon and Jack.”

The Young and the Restless actress Sharon Case recently took part in this year’s Los Angeles International Film Festival. The reason?

She has a new independent film coming out called Repressions.

The film is centered around a disturbed woman, Janie (played by Sharon) whose life turmoil leads her to explore a childhood trauma. Based on true events, the movie is billed as a psychological drama.

The third time has been the charm for Sharon Case.

The actress enjoyed brief stints on General Hospital and As the World Turns, she's stuck around since 1994 on The Young and the Restless.

Here are a few interesting facts about case:

• After being nominated in 1996 and 1997 for Outstanding Younger Actress, Case picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 1999, a category for which she was also nominated in 2000 and 2004.

• She turned down a large role on the HBO film Breast Men because she didn't feel comfortable being topless. Instead, she accepted a smaller, clothed role in the movie, which also starred David Schwimmer.

• Case and co-star Joshua Morrow enjoy birthdays one day apart. Morrow was born on February 8.

• Won the Soap Opera Digest Award for "Hottest Female" in 1998.

• She's claustrophobic.
