Sabine Singh Speaks Out

Sabine Singh PicDespite being treated like crap by All My Children producers - they actually advertised the return of the "real Greenlee during an episode with the supposedly fake Greenlee - Sabine Singh is taking the high road.

She recently said the following, regarding her All My Children ousting:

It has been a difficult week and a shocking, most unexpected turn of events. However, there is one thing that has kept me clearheaded and strong throughout all this: my friends, on and off set.

The amazing AMC fans have been nothing short of supportive, loving, and giving on my behalf. My fellow cast and crew members held me up through my last week of work, where I shot scenes and said lines that were no longer mine.

This is difficult news to receive the week before Christmas, which made it even harder to tell my family. I am sad to have lost a job I loved so much, and I am sad at how much this hurts my amazingly supportive family. However, this turn of events offered me the opportunity to see such beauty in people: I have wonderful friends. I have amazing fans.

The cast and crew of All My Children are so unbelievably supportive. Therefore, ultimately, I would like to thank All My Children for the opportunities they provided me with but most especially I want to thank them because I was able to meet and work with such remarkable, extraordinary people.

Friend of Sabine Singh Says Actress is Devasted by All My Children Firing

Sabine Singh Picture Someone claiming to be a close friend of Sabine Singh's has posted a long message on the Sabine Singh Fan Space.

Here's what "palolive75" had to say about the actress' dismissal from All My Children:

ITS TRUE.

hi. im new to the board but have been reading it for months now as ss is one of my oldest dearest friends from home. I also hope she does not get angry at me for writing today and speaking HER TRUTH. She is DEVASTATED but is doing everything she can to hide it and continue to honor and respect the show, the fans, and her friends at amc.

She was given the news this week and basically, i kid you not, given less than a week to "quietly get out".

regardless of if you like her or hate her, as a close member in her life i can tell you she has spent the past 10 months of her life giving amc everything.

Breaking All My Children News: Sabine Singh Out, Rebecca Budig In

She'll be taking the place of Sabine Singh.

Budig originated the role in 1999. She left All My Children in 2005 in order to pursue other interests. Guiding Light fans are also familiar with the actress during her time as Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light.

Singh, meanwhile, joined All My Children earlier this year and never caught on with fans.

Rebecca Budig

The return of Budig is consistent with the show's new approach of brining back fan favorites. As previously reported, Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan are returning to the series, as well.
