Robert Bogue to Meet and Greet Fans

Guiding Light star Robert Bogue will appear in the following cities to promote the opening of his new comedy, Backseat:

  • Saturday, March 28 th at the Quad Cinema in New York City
  • April 5 th at the Opera Plaza Cinema in San Francisco
  • April 6 th at the Landmark Shattuck Cinema in Berkely
  • April 19 th at the Varsity Theater in Seattle

After each screening, the actor will speak with fans about the film.

He'll be starring in a pair of movies. Here are the details:

- Bogue portrays Ed Spade in The Dissection of Thanksgiving. The comedy also stars Jay O. Sanders, Kathleen Quinlan and Marisa Coughlan. It takes place in a Chinese restaurant, focusing on the unfolding of a family crisis through the eyes of its various neurotic individuals within said family.

- The actor also recently completed work on the film Jack Frost. It co-stars Jason Behr and Monet Mazur and follows a New York City playboy as he tries to resolve his mixed feelings about the engagement of his childhood sweetheart.

But many viewers may not be familiar with the following facts about the handsome actor:

  • Bogue is a founding member of the New Group Theater Company, a Manhattan-based production group.
  • After filming Bob Dylan's music video years ago, the iconic musician tried to give Bogue his harmonica. Unfortunately, when Bogue excused himself to use the bathroom, Dylan ended up leaving and giving the harmonica to someone else.
  • The A.C. in Mallet's name stands for Anthony Camaletti.
  • Has been known to improvise dialogue, as he said to Soap Opera Digest a year ago;

"We try to sharpen the dialogue up a bit, or try to raise the stakes to add as much comedy as we can to try to get that locker room banter going," he said about himself and co-star Ricky Paull Goldin.
