As previously reported, One Life to Live will welcome back a special guest as the daytime drama prepares to mark its 40th anniversary:
In June, Andrea Evans will return as Tina Lord Roberts, the role for which she received a Daytime Emmy nod in 1990. As TV Guide reports, Tina's arrival not only will bring with it the trouble that typically follows Viki's half sister, but also will open the door for another fan favorite to resurface.
"Even though Andrea has not appeared on One Life to Live since 1990, she has remained among the most requested characters to return to the show," said exec producer Frank Valentini. "I welcome her home to One Life to Live and to the role where she made an indelible mark on our audience."
"For many years, both fans of mine and One Life to Live have wanted me to return. Now that the timing is right, Im thrilled to be returning to the role of Tina, which I've always held near and dear to my heart," Evans added in a statement.
Moreover, here are some One Life to Live spoilers/teasers from ABC:
"Tina has endured a life-altering experience and will have a mysterious connection to one of Llanview's most powerful citizens."
"Upon her return, Tina will first cross paths with her sister Viki and her brother Todd. Her appearance in town will spark a major story that will take place throughout the summer."
One Life to Live has confirmed a bit of exciting news:
Andrea Evans is back as everyone's favorite schemer Tina Lord. The actress had left for a role on Passions, but now that that gig has wrapped, she can return to her soap opera roots.
Evans originated the role of Lord in 1978 and last played it in 1990. No first air date for the star has been release yet, but sources say Tina will have a surprising tie to someone not very well liked in Llanview.
The actress also spent 22 episodes on The Bold and the Beautiful back in 1999-2000.
What's coming up on One Life to Live? We're so glad you asked...
On April 9, a new face comes to Llanview. One Life To Live fans will get to know Burke Moses, who will arrive on the show as Calvin Jenkins.
Of course, Moses himself is no stranger to daytime. The actor has appeared in on All My Children in 2003; on As the World Turns from 1989 to 1991; and on Guiding Light back in 1986.
Moses even made few previous appearances on One Life to Live as Bulge Hackman from 1992 to 1994. In that case: welcome back, Burke!
