For those that didn't believe rapper Snoop Dogg would actually be appearing on One Life to Live - and it would be difficult to blame those that doubted this rumor - here's a photo of the music icon on set.

Snoop is set to appear on the May 8 and May 9 One Life to Live episodes. Check out a couple more shots of him on the soap at Daytime Confidential now.

Here's some fun news for One Life to Live fans:

There's a new book hitting the market in July, billed as "A Fun, Fact-filled, Everything-you-want-to-know-guide to Your Favorite Soap." It's called: "One Life to Live 40th Anniversary Trivia Book."

Inside, there's a year-by-year breakdown of milestones and news items. There's also a detailed look at many of the memorable cast members featured on the show.

Some of the interesting questions in the book include

• What kiss caused an ABC affiliate in Texas to drop the show?
• Plans to launch a doll of which character sparked outrage?
• Which villain spoofed Tom Cruise's couch-jumping antics on "Oprah"?

Kevin Spiritas is coming to Llanview.

The actor, best known for his role as shady doctor Craig Wesley on Days of Our Lives, will debut as the mysterious Jonas Chamberlain in June.

The character will be connected to Tina Lord, played by returning actress Andrea Evans. Who Jonas really is and what that connection entails? That will be a shocker for One Life to Live fans.

The Asbury Park Press recently wrote a feature on the filming of One Life to Live in New Jersey. Here are excerpts from it:

The sun was shining, the cameras were rolling, and the production crew of the daytime soap opera One Life to Live was on their second day of taping on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, Thursday.

A cool breeze blew off the ocean as extras milled about, pretending to enjoy a day at the beach. People came out to watch.

Amid the roving cameramen and directors making frantic hand gestures, people silently watched as One Life to Live's Todd Manning, portrayed by actor Trevor St. John (pictured on set), acted out a scene in front of the Aztec Ocean Resort.Read the full article now.

Here's exciting news for One Life to Live fans who loved seeing R. Brandon Johnson in his role of Chuck Wilson last November:

While the character has been stuck in Texas (after having Asa's ranch willed to him), we're about to see Chuck hit the canvas one more time. During the week of April 24, the character will appear in scenes with Jared (John Brotherton) and Natalie (Melissa Archer).

What will he be up to, exactly? You'll need to tune in to find out.
