Peter Straub is coming back to One Life to Live.
The actor/author was last seen in 2006 in the role of Peter Braust.
This Thursday, though, look for Straub to make a guest appearance as the former partner of John McBain's (Michael Easton) deceased father, Thomas McBain. We'll post more information about this character as it comes in.

Andrea Evans is back on One Life to Live!
Unfortunately, many long-time fans were disheartened to see her have just one brief scene with Viki at the airport.
But, don't worry, the actress told Michael Fairman that more are on the way:
When you returned for the 40th anniversary One Life to Live episodes you only had short scene with Viki at the airport. Many die-hard fans felt perhaps short changed. But I hear there are more Tina and Viki moments on the way!
There will be more Tina/Viki absolutely. I think Ron Carlivati tried to bring in a scene with us before Erika Slezak (Viki) left for her vacation. Between our two schedules… to get me their before the 40th anniversary, and her leaving on her vacation was challenging. He really struggled to find the opportunity for us to have any scenes at all under those circumstances. I promise you there will be a lot more to come.

Matthew Berry has one of the greatest jobs in the world. He's the ESPN fantasy sports guru, offering opinions to millions of dorks everyday (our staff included) on the latest happenings in fantasy baseball and football.
The sports expert has now announced that he'll be guest starring on One Life to Live. Here's what he wrote:
"Over the next two weeks, I'll be taping a two-episode arc for the ABC Daytime Soap One Life to Live. I play 'Neil,' a jewelry appraiser. When we did our 'Endless Drama' soap opera parody ads for fantasy baseball this year, we shot them on the One Life to Live set and, for the sake of authenticity, with the OLTL executive producer, director and crew. Well, apparently, they liked whatever it is I do and called recently with a part 'that's perfect for me.' It makes sense. As one of my co-workers sarcastically noted when told about it, 'Am I the only one who is surprised at the notion of Matthew being part of daytime drama?'"
According to Daytime Confidential, A Martinez is already finished with his brief stint on One Life to Live.
Reportedly, Martinez has taped his last scenes for the show. There's no word yet if the actor will reprise the role of Ray Montez, the long lost uncle of Dorian Cramer's (Robin Strasser) adoptive daughter Langston (Brittany Underwood).
Meanwhile, Lola Montez (Ray's daughter), will be played by Camila Banus and will make her first screen appearance on the October 3 episode of One Life To Live.
Two characters end up in bed together next week on One Life to Live...
Florencia Lozano is coming back to One Life to Live.
It's safe to assume this actress - who will be repreising her role as Téa Delgado - will be involved in the current storyline with Todd and Marty.
Téa Delgado was last seen eight years ago, after Todd convinced her to leave town with him. However, when Todd returned home months later, Delgado was gone. One Life to Live fans haven't heard about her since.
Look for Lozano to appear in December on the show.
Later this week A Martinez returns to daytime television with a stint on One Life to Live.
The actor recently chatted with soap opera expert Michael Fairman about the role:
What prompted your decision to come back to daytime and to One Life to Live?
It’s really an interesting show, and so many of the actors on there are actors that I have loved. When I was doing “GH”, I had met most of those actors around ABC functions and the Daytime Emmys. I got to go to a party once for Erika Slezak (Viki), who I think is the most remarkable actress. I have had such a high regard for her and the show. I had met Frank Valentini (executive producer, One Life to Live) back in the day, and when you are in daytime, it’s really a small community.
Even the people I worked with going way back to, “Santa Barbara” they are still working, and you feel like a connection to them even though months and often years go by, without any real conversations. It’s an interesting feeling to walk back into it. Going back to the set of a daytime soap felt so immediately comfortable. It was actually quite surprising.
How long can fans expect your stay in Llanview to be?
I signed a five-week deal and I just finished my last tape day. I think the stories and the scenes will play out over 8 weeks.
