Where will Nadia Bjorlin be in a year?

The Days of Our Lives beauty can't say for sure. But she shared her thoughts on the future with TV Guide Canada recently:

"I still believe there’s a future for me on prime time and film. The reason I returned was because Days kept calling me to come back to the show. I actually signed with Days of Our Lives the day before the strike was announced. Obviously, there were promises of great story.

Also, most actors knew Hollywood would be screwed up for a while due to the impending strike, so it seemed like a no-brainer to me to return. Honestly, I did miss Days of Our Lives, too. You know, Days has always felt like a home to me. So, it seemed like great timing. We’ll see — I have a year left on my contract."

Days of Our Lives star Nadia Bjorlin recently talked with writer Michael Fairman. Here are excerpts from that interview:

Q: How was it coming back to Days of Our Lives and working again with Jay Kenneth Johnson (Phillip)?
Bjorlin: I love him, and I adore him, and I have the most utmost respect for him. He is beautiful and handsome, and we have a good time together and great chemistry. I think we have known each other for such a long time and we get each other. It’s fun on every level.

Q: Does Chloe have an agenda? It seems a bit confusing to the audience.
Bjorlin: I am confused to; the only way I could make sense of this is obviously she was really hurting from the whole Brady thing. I don’t think those feelings were resolved. They were kids when they got married. I don’t think they were ready to work through problems and issues.

Brady is resentful towards Chloe, and she lost a part of herself. I was trying to find the reality that: people forget themselves when they become consumed in a relationship and marriage. Chloe got away to find out what happened to Brady and to figure her life out.

She wanted to see Phillip, because Phillip is the one person who has been by her side, powerful, good and can get things done. In trying to get past some hurt, she was trying to find some love and validation; or acceptance and I think that was through Phillip. And later, seeing Phillip was not all quite there, I think Chloe’s self-esteem was so low that at this point, that she was trying to play people against each other.

Remember when Chloe received those "Ghoul Girl" taunts in high school?

Since then, of course, portrayer Nadia Bjorlin has emerged as a gorgeous swan. Through it all, the actress has collected a handful of special memories. She shared a few of them with Soap Opera Weekly.

Here's a recount of one of her favorite days on, well, Days of Our Lives:

"The crazy episode where Belle had a weird dream about her, Shawn, Philip and Chloe on the beach was funny. It was this weird alternate-universe reality thing. That was a location shoot. We went to Malibu; it was shot on Zuma Beach. I was bald.

Nadia Bjorlin has come a long way on Days of Our Lives.

Farah Fath (Mimi) was a mermaid. We were all seriously overacting and laughing our heads off. I remember it was freezing outside, like 50 degrees, and we were miserable. I had to wear a gold lamé bikini. (Costume designer) Richard Bloore actually made that bikini for me.

The whole thing was really funny, a big spoof, a major parody."

As reported yesterday, Nadia Bjorlin and her brothers have released a four-song album. Here's a video of the Days of Our Lives actress and her siblings in action:

Days of Our Lives stars Nadia Bjorlin has released a four-song CD along with her brothers Ulf and Jean Paul Bjorlin. It's titled "The Bjorlin Trio."

"The music is best described as classical crossover, in the likes of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli," said the actress. "We recorded these four songs because of the beautiful three part harmonies and of course it is accompanied by my brother Jean Paul on piano."

The trio has been performing together since they young, traveling all over Sweden , Europe and the United States. Each went their separate way since then, but have reunited for this effort.

Nadia Bjorlin will be starring in an upcoming movie called Jack Rio.

The film is set to be released later this summer, as the Days of Our Lives beauty portrays the character of Sonia Hunter.

Based on a story by Matthew Borlenghi (ex-Ziggy, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Brian, All My Children), the flick is centers around an L.A. actor (Borlenghi) who stars in a "film noir soap opera," but desperately wants to escape his TV persona.

While trying to leave the show that made him famous, the actor is dogged by a string of murders that coincidentally occur at his scheduled public appearances.

Nadia Bjorlin will appear in the movie Jack Rio.

Coming out on June 13, IMDB describes the film as a "dark journey of a famed TV star trying to get out the the shadow of his onscreen persona, while a serial killer runs rampant throughout the city of Los Angeles."

Along with the Days of Our Lives beauty, the film also stars Sean Kanan, formerly of The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital.

Nadia Bjorlin is not shy.
