Leann Hunley is leaving Days of Our Lives. Again.

The actress returned to Salem in June 2007 after a 21-year absence. Viewers have scarcely seen her on the screen recently.

On her blog, Hunley told fans it was time to go:

"Hello Darlings! I worked my last day on Days of Our Lives today ... Anyway, THANK YOU for all your sweet wishes and support over the last year and a half. I had a wonderful time bringing Anna back to life and will miss 'her' more than just a little."

Hunley's exit will coincide with that of co-star Thaao Penghlis.

Leann Hunley stars on Days of Our Lives. She's been on the show off and on since 1982.

Here are a few interesting facts about the actress:

• She once worked as an answering service operator.
• Was unable to attend the Daytime Emmy Awards the year she won, because she was filming the movie Hotel.
• Appeared on the cover of TV Guide’s July 30-August 5, 1988 issue.
• Auditioned for the role of Gloria on The Young and the Restless, but was deemed too young to play Christian LeBlanc's (Michael) mother.
• She's an avid golfer and often plays at charity events.
