Kate Linder will host a Katrina Carlson concert at the Briar Rose Winery in Temecula, California on October 19.

The Young and the Restless star will introduce the singer/songwriter and remain as a special guest throughout the evening.

Only 100 guests will be permitted to spend the evening with Carlson and Linder; they'll receive complimentary glasses of wine, along with a copy of Katrina's new CD, Here and Now. Here's information on the event:

As previously reported, Kate Linder received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday.

As the Daily News in Los Angeles reports Kate Linder is the only active flight attendant for a major airline who is receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Linder, who plays Esther Valentine on The Young and the Restless, never quit her day job after being cast on the soap opera 26 years ago this week.

"In the beginning, I didn't know what was gonna happen so I didn't tell anyone at the show that I was a flight attendant because I thought they might not take me seriously as an actress," the actress said.

Linder currently works for United Airlines, havings been a flight attendant for nearly 30 years.

"I do the show during the week and fly on weekends," she said, adding that she's excited for her costars to be on Hollywood Boulevard on Thursday when Kate's star is unveiled across the street from the Roosevelt Hotel.

"I love the people that I work with," Linder said. "I love the show and I love the role. It was only supposed to be for one day." It seems once Kate gets a job, she does like to keep it!

On Thursday, April 10, Kate Linder (Esther) will receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

For fans of The Young and the Restless who would like to attend, the event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at 7021 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, California, just west of the Hollywood and Highland Complex.

Kate joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in 1982. The week of the ceremony will mark her 26th year. Congratulations are certainly in order!

• Esther also happens to be the name of Linder's grandmother, which co-star Cooper didn't know when she named the character.

"Being an actress helped me through this. Not only being a flight attendant, but being an actress. As an actress, I'm trained to observe. I listen. And I thank God I'm here to talk about it."
