The One Life to Live star was named Outstanding Performer in a Daytime Drama Series at the 2008 ALMA Awards. He earned the honor over Maurice Benard, Jessica Leccia, David Fumero, Galen Gering and Eva Tamargo.

One Life to Live will support a co-star as he hosts a charity event in March.
On Saturday, March 8, Kamar del los Reyes (Antonio Vega) will host Daytime at Nitetime IV, an event held for The Gabriel Project. It will take place at the Rex Manor in Brooklyn.
The Gabriel Project is an organization that assists with pregnancy and offers alternatives to abortion.
Other One Life to Live stars expected to make an appearance include Trevor St. John (Todd Manning), Eddie Alderson (Matthew Buchanan), Brittany Underwood (Langston Wilde) and Brandon Buddy (Cole Thornhart).
Women will soon get a chance to drool over Kamar de los Reyes someplace other than One Life to Live.
On Friday, January 18, the soap opera stud will make a guest appearance on Paulas Party, the Food Networks primetime series starring celebrated chef and author Paula Deen.
Mark it down on your calendar: At 10:00 p.m., in front of a live studio audience, Kamar will appear in an episode titled Havana in Savannah." You can bet the food he cooks is almost as hot as the man himself.
