Jackie Zeman Shares a Tale from General Hospital

Jacklyn Zeman has appeared on over 4,000 episodes of General Hospital in the role of Bobbie Spencer.

The actress recently gave an interview to The Clarion-Ledger, during which she was asked a simple question: Tell us a tale from the show.

Here is Zeman's reply:

Kin Shriner, Scotty Baldwin on the show, has been my longtime favorite lunch buddy. He likes dinner for lunch. Everyone remembers the Luke and Laura wedding from years ago, and Kin and I had several scenes together during the shooting.

Well, what few people know is that we taped it at a gorgeous mansion in Hollywood over the span of three days, and if you watch the tape you will never see anyone eating anything during the wedding. That's because it was so hot the set designers had to spray all of that great food with bug spray so it would be preserved and look perfectly fresh.

I hated it. I thought it was awful, because I am a mother in real-life. I have two children. My son looks very much like Dylan Cash (ex-Michael). So, it was tough for me. But it’s soap opera and I understand why we do have these tragedies.
