Natalia Livingston is coming back to General Hospital.

In an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the actress talks about her new character of Rebecca.

"She goes against the grain. With her, if I don't feel like smiling, I don't have to."

During the discussion, Livingston discussed how different this character is from Emily Bowen-Quartermaine, the role she portrayed on the ABC drama from April 2003 through May 2008. Emily was killed off in November 2007.

"She works at the hospital," Livingston said. "She's going to come in and shake things up. It'll be interesting to see how the characters react to her."

Might this be the year Brenda returns to General Hospital?

Vanessa Marcil recently made such a comeback sound very possible, telling Soap Opera Weekly: "We're trying to make it work again."

Marcil starred on the soap opera from 1992-1998. Since then, her most prominent roles have included Beverly Hills, 90210 and Las Vegas.

We'd love to see Vanessa Marcil return to General Hospital.

Senta Moses is set to join the cast of General Hospital.

Look for the actress to debut in early 2009 in the role of the mysterious computer hacker behind Spinelli's recent woes.

Moses most recently she appeared as Lizzi in the hit ABC Family series Greek.

Last month, Sarah Brown signed a new contract. She'll remain on General Hospital through at least January 2010.

The actress recently shared her reasons why with TV Guide:

TVGuide.com: Sarah Brown is never one to take her career moves lightly. What was important to you in deciding on another year with General Hospital?
Sarah Brown: Re-signing for me this time around was dependent on several major things — What's happening in the economy? Who would be writing the show this year and what kind of story did they have in mind for me? I like having a steady job. It's nice for a change, and that was a big part of the reason I decided to stick around.  

I love the people I'm working with and it is, after all, a great job for a single mom. I work hard, but I work locally and usually have much of my day free.
