Special Effects to Help General Hospital Reveal Text Message Killer

How will the General Hospital Text Message Killer angle end?

While the answer should surprise - and, hopefully, satisfy - General Hospital fans, the way it's revealed should also be quite exciting: the show will be utilizing CGI in order to reveal the murderer, a technique it incorporated on General Hospital: Night Shift.

The conclusion of the ''Text Message Killer'' storyline will incorporate a death-defying CGI'ed car scene that jeopardizes the lives of the two women important to both Lucky and Jason.

''The opportunity for us in daytime to break open the whole look of the show is very exciting,'' said executive producer Jill Pharren Phelps.

Bang! Bang! Who was Shot on General Hospital?

General Hospital Actress Shots rang out Friday on General Hospital, but who got hit?

The New York Daily News asks - and attempts to answer - this question, as it previews tomorrow's new General Hospital episode.

"Monday picks up with both Kate and Carly lying on the ground," says Laura Wright, pictured, who plays Carly. "You don't know who got hit. Jax comes to Carly and says, 'Carly, are you okay?' She's, like, 'I guess I got queasy and fell over.' Carly thinks she must have passed out from being pregnant. She didn't even hear the gun go off."

Which means she doesn't know it was her son Michael who accidentally fired it.

"She has no idea," continues Wright. "They just assume the gunfire means bad news that they should probably get away from. Jax takes her to the hospital to make sure she's okay."

Kelly Monaco Speaks on General Hospital Romances

A Kelly Monaco PhotoOn General Hospital, Sam is known for being unlucky in love. Maybe that's because she often chooses bad boys such as Sonny and Jason.

But even a romance with one of the town's finer citizens, Lucky, didn't work out too well. Why not? Kelly Monaco explains as much to Soap Opera Weekly.

Soap Opera Weekly: Were you surprised that so many viewers were really enjoying the Sam/Lucky coupling?
Kelly Monaco: I'm always surprised by the reaction to any relationship. You never know how the audience is going to take to it. The only gauge I have is from Super Soap Weekend. Fans seemed to be split. Half the people are Jason and Sam fans. Half are on the bandwagon to this pairing. So half of them hate one or the other [couple].

Weekly: Do you like the Sam/Lucky story?
Monaco: Sam and Lucky's romance was nice. It was sweet. It was friendly. It was innocent. I mean, gosh, Sam did do a lot of manipulating and crap [to land Lucky], but he was teaching her a lot.
