According to TV Guide Canda, Farah Fath and John-Paul Lavoisier (pictured) of One Life to Live are dating in real life.

We wonder what he thinks of her Daytime Emmy Award dress.

We're fans of Farah Fath, but the One Life to Live star must have received a call from the fashion police after this Daytime Emmy Award disaster.

Can't say we're huge supports of the open leg or ruffles. What do you think of this dress?

Farah Fath currently stars on One Life to Live.

But the actress is still best known to many soap opera followers as Mimi from Days of Our Lives. She played that role from 1999-2007, joining the former show earlier this year.

Here are a few other tidbits about Fath:

• Resides in New York City with her sister.
• Only completed one year of high school before she was booked for Days of Our Lives.
• In 2004, the character of Mimi, had the first abortion in daytime since the early 1980s.
• In 2003, said: "People thought I was crazy in Kentucky when I was 13 and talking about becoming a famous actress. I'm confident that I can do whatever I want to do. I could see myself winning an Oscar, I could totally see that. But first, I have to win an Emmy."

Farah Fath is fitting in very nicely on One Life to Live.

But the actress spent eight years on Days of Our Lives - and Soap Opera Digest was curious to find out how much she knew about her new series:

Farah Fath can't wait to breathe life into her One Life to Live character, Gigi. But it wasn't always that way.

After walking away from her Days of Our Lives, the actress wasn't so sure about her future. She tried out for the role of Sarah on One Life to Live, but was passed over.

Fortunately, this gave Farah a chance to go home and relax before getting hired as Gigi.

"Everything happens for a reason and I didn’t get the part of Sarah [on One Live to Live] for a reason," the actress said. "So I could go home and spend time in Kentucky with my family. Now, I’m really, really ready.”

So are fans of the show.

Here's a new update regarding former Days of Our Lives star, Farah Fath:

The new One Life to Live cast member finally has a character name: Gigi Morasco.

However, Executive Producer Frank Valentini won't reveal much more on the topic:

"[Her story] is going to be a total surprise," he told Soap Opera Digest. "Everybody's just going to have to tune in. She's a very exciting performer and I'm really looking forward to working with her."

Fath reports to work in September and will start airing on October 24.

On other exciting One Life to Live casting news, don't forget: Jason Tam will be remaining on the show.

Farah Fath is returning to daytime, but the former Days of our Lives actress isn't returning to her former home.

Fath, who started her daytime career in 1999 as Mimi Lockhart, remained with the show for nearly eight years, exiting in March. But now she's jumped ship and landed on another show on another network. Yes, the actress will begin work on ABC's One Life to Live later this year.

"I believe I stated earlier that my goal was to be working again by the fall," Fath said in a statement on her official web site in May. "Well I am back to work this September. Goals CAN be achieved! I have inked a multi-year deal with the ABC soap opera One Life to Live."

While rumors of Fath's addition have been circulating for a few weeks, they had been centered around the character of Sarah Roberts. However, that role has already been filled by Justis Bolding.

"I was considered for [Sarah] but the execs have decided to write a role just for me," Fath said. "Which is why I won't start taping for a few months. I am SO honored and excited."
