We all need a little romance. But Belle (Martha Madison) seems to be getting hers from someone who is NOT her fiance. That isn't a good idea.

Chelsea and Stephanie

Chelsea and Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) moved into the Theta house, only to learn that Cordy was dropping out of school.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: November Sweeps

November is fraught with troubled relationships. Will true love survives?
- Days of Our Lives Executive Producer Ken Corday

Sounds intriguing to us. Let's see how Corday breaks down various characters in the next few weeks:

Marlena (Deidre Hall)
"She's grieving, dealing with the loss of John. It's extremely sad time for her. She will have a major story in December. Count on it."

Bryan Dattilo Photo Sami/Lucas/EJ
"Sami will enter a marriage of convenience with EJ, and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo, pictured) will have to trust that that's all it is. EJ is torn; he does care about Sami, but he is under his father's thumb. A very dramatic event occurs at the wedding."

Shawn/Belle/Philip/Chloe
"Chloe comes back right before Shawn and Belle's wedding and will realize what's going on between Philip and Belle (Martha Madison). Hope knows, too and there's a lot of pressure on Belle. Bo and hope are trying to keep Belle faithful to Shawn."

Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols Answer Days of Our Lives Questions

Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols often answer fan questions on the official Days of Our Lives website.

Below, they respond to a couple of inquiries related to the show and their characters:

Q: What are your favorite characteristics of Steve and Kayla?
Mary Beth: I like that Kayla stands up for what she believes in.
Stephen: Patch is an honorable guy. He always does what he says he's going to do. He's compassionate and he loves children...he tries to protect the little ones.

Q: Do you have any say in the direction of the show?
Stephen: In terms of the writing and the storyline, no. We could probably throw ideas out there and tell them what we think, but we don't have much control over that. What we do have control over is what goes on on the set while we're doing the scenes, we can throw those in. There's a real collaboration, especially now that there are new people there. They are smart and listen to the actors.
Mary Beth: It's great now, too, because we actually get notes...GOOD notes...and it's great. We can always use improvement and tips to tweak it and make it better. It's just way more collaborative now and so much more fun!

Rumors of Drake Hogestyn being fired are only gonna intensify after this news: In a revealing Days of Our Lives spoiler, John Black will be involved in a fatal car accident.

John Black

That's right, the character actually dies. So this certainly means the end of Hogestyn on the show, right? Maybe not, according to Days of Our Lives officials:

"Things in Salem may not always be what they seem. The show has no official comment at this time," they said.

Guess we'll have to tune in and find out.

SOAPnet to Air Classic Days of Our Lives Episodes for Halloween

Remember when Deidre Hall's Days of Our Lives character, Dr. Marlena Evans, was possessed by demonic forces?

You'll soon get a chance to: in celebration of Halloween, those memorable Days of Our Lives installments will be re-broadcast over SOAPnet later this month.

possessed-marlena-evans.jpgAround Halloween this year, the all-soap opera channel will showcase a mini-marathon featuring three of the most notorious episodes in the colorful history of the Days of Our Lives franchise.

On October 28, episodes numbered 7,528, 7,531 and 7,570 will air anew over SOAPnet,  starting at 9 p.m.

In episode 7,528, Kristen (Eileen Davidson) has caught on to Marlena, even as the possessed Salem psychiatrist transforms into a panther and gets a swarm of bees to attack the aging Shawn Brady (Frank Parker).  This installment originally aired on May 12, 1995.

The second episode that night features Marlena levitating in front of her stunned loved ones.  When they attempt to communicate with her, she responds as Satan; exorcism is the only recourse.  Episode 7,531 was originally broadcast May 17, 1995.

The final installment scheduled to close out the marathon is episode 7,570, which first aired July 18, 1995.  In it, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) fights the devil for Marlena's soul, as the rest of her family and friends believe she is already dead.

Enjoy them all!
