Arianne Zuker's Nicole told EJ that she was pregnant with his baby earlier today on Days of Our Lives.

With the secret loose, how will EJ react?

"I'm not sure if he believes her, because of her past," Zuker told The New York Daly News. "This is Nicole's chance to do something right with her life. All this girl wants is a family after her father put her in, yes, ladies and gentlemen, porn. She just wants to be loved by a man and get that love back."

Nicole's dream is complicated, of course, because EJ already has one child with Sami - and another one on the way.

"No one knows that but Sami and Lucas," said the actress. "There is a teaser coming up where Nicole and Sami run into each other at the Brady Pub and have to sit next to each other because it's totally crowded. Someone orders a plate of clams, and they're both like, 'It's not ours.' They look at each each other like they are both going to be completely sick. It's funny."

Max is in for a surprise next week on Days of Our Lives...

Countless soap opera characters have become unexpected fathers throughout the history of daytime television.

But EJ may be the first to go through the experience twice... at the same time.

This week on Days of Our Lives, EJ will become a daddy — twice over — when both Nicole and Sami learn they're pregnant. Surprise, surprise!

EJ: Has sperm, will travel.

As previously reported, former Passions actor Galen Gering has signed on for a role on Days of Our Lives.

We've now learned that Gering's character will mostly appear opposite Alison Sweeney's character Sami. The character will be an FBI agent linked to Salem's other bad girl Nicole (Arianne Zucker), along with her sleazy, professor hubby Trent (Roscoe Born).

Here's a mini Days of Our Lives spoiler on the developments ahead:

Trent gets whacked, which places Mrs. Robbins at the top of the long list of suspects. Gering's character will be leading the investigation, as he finds himself irresistable to Nicole's charms. Well, who wouldn't be?

Here's exciting news for both Days of Our Lives fans and Passions fans:

Galen Gering (pictured, formerly Luis on Passions) has been been hired on Days of Our Lives to play an FBI agent; moreover, Eric Martsolf (formerly Ethan, Passions) will come aboard as a recast for Brady.

• Bo and Hope confront Nicole with their knowledge of her marriage to Trent.
