After less than a year on As the World Turns, Justine Cotsonas will be moving on from Oakdale.

Soaps.com has learned that Justine's character, Sofie, will be murdered later this week. However, fans will continue to see Sofie on screen through August.

Cyndi Lauper guest stars on As the World Turns tomorrow. Her mission?

To reunite Luke and Noah.

The singer spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the appearance recently, light-heartedly giving Jake Silbermann the same advice she gives his character on the show:

"I just think it's awful, and you should get back together with your boyfriend," Lauper said to Silbermann. "Because honestly, I think you two are made for each other. And if you're gonna start this silliness now, just think, you know, later on, you'll be sorry in life. You had your moment when you could have had real love. But no, you decided to become distracted. And then what's gonna become of you?

You're gonna be unhappy, which will be perfect for this show, but, you know what I mean. You better get straightened up... [She puts out her hand out for Silbermann to shake] It's nice to meet you."

As fans know, Luke and Noah have broken up on the show - but have no fear, readers, Lauper is here!

The singer is slated to guest star on As the World Turns on July 3. Playing herself, Lauper will attempt to get the two hotties, played by Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann, back together.

“I’m here to do intervention for true love and I think true love should always win out,” Lauper told Entertainment Tonight. “I think it’s actually a monumental show that I’m on.”

Can Cyndi Lauper help Luke and Noah get back together?

This week on As the World Turns, Paul (Roger Howarth, pictured) makes a major life decision, while also being informed of a life-altering circumstance.

First, he proposed to Meg. Following this event, though, Paul learns that Sofie is pregnant... with his baby!

"Yet again, Paul has done something to mess things up," Marie Wilson (Meg) said to Soap Opera Weekly about the upcoming story line.
