According to a writer on As the World Turns, Noah is on such a high this week after mending fences with ex-girlfriend Maddie that he shares his relief - and a second kiss - with Luke.

As a result of this decision, Noah to embrace his feelings that he's ready to pursue a romance.

"I know nobody believes it's going to happen," says Jean Passanante, but "there's a real commitment on the part of the show to play the story for what it is and that's where we're going.
