Next week's All My Children? It's all about relationships, relationships, relationships...
Here's a quick, important programming note for fans of All My Children:
Beth Ehlers (pictured, Taylor Thompson) and JR Martinez (Brot Monroe) will appear on The View this Friday.
Now you have another reason to tune in to the talk show, aside from seeing everyone gang up on Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
The economy is affecting more than just the automobile workers.
According to All My Children creator Agnes Nixon, everyone involved with that ABC soap opera has been forced to take a pay cut.
"All the actors on All My Children have been reduced [in salary]," said Nixon, who also created One Life to Live and is a paid consultant to the network's daytime division. "Susan Lucci, Michael Knight and Ray McDonald have all been reduced -- substantially. And so have I, as a consultant. The ratings are not the same."

All My Children packs a lot of excitement into its shortened, holiday week over the next few days. Here are key developments to look forward to...
Eden Riegel couldn't be happier.
She's back on All My Children and... we'll let the actress herself share the rest:
"It’s amazing to be back. It’s like going home (if home was a really cold studio filled with really gorgeous people). But the best part is working with Tamara Braun. She’s a fantastic person and an amazing actress," Riegel said, adding:
"There was a time not so long ago that Bianca and Maggie could barely greet each other with a kiss on the cheek, now Bianca and Reese are actually in bed together. I love it!"

JR Martinez plays Brot on All My Children.
This real-life Iraq war veteran recently spoke to Soap Opera Weekly about the actual injuries he suffered in combat, ones that play a central role to his character on the show.
Q: The day you were injured in Iraq, your Humvee drove over a landmine, throwing three other soldiers from the vehicle. But what happened to you?
Martinez: I was trapped inside the vehicle. The explosion caused a fire. We would rather lose one guy than five, and what that means is if one of our guys [is] injured, then we have to get to a safe point, and once we figure out what's going on, then we go back to help our fellow service member.
Q: So you ended up being trapped in the burning Humvee for 10 to 15 minutes. What were you thinking?
Martinez: "My life will end in another country." The biggest thing was my mother. My mother was the one who raised me on her own, and she's basically my best friend. I [was] thinking to myself that my mother was going to be devastated, because she had already lost a daughter when I was 5 years old. I was conscious, and all of this was going through my mind.
