On September 16, The Biggest Loser: Families premieres.

During a recent conference call with reporters, host Alison Sweeney said she hopes to appear on the show for as long as possible. But the pregnancy of her second child with husband David Sanov will be a challenge.

"I'm definitely planning on working as much as I can all the way up through until the last minute. [Producer Mark Hoops] always teases me because I'm extremely optimistic about how long I'll be able to stay," the Days of Our Lives actress said.

"A lot of it is because I'm such a fan. I love being there with them, I love seeing their progress... I'll be MIA for a portion of it and they have plans for that."

We wonder if Alison Sweeney ever sleeps.

The busy Days of Our Lives star - who hosts The Biggest Loser, along with a slew of other activities she participates in - will host a charity auction later this month.

The charity auction is in conjunction with Clothes Off Our Back and will take place Tuesday, August 26 in Times Square at 10 a.m. It will benefit organizations that assist with worldwise problems such as hunger and displaced children.

At this specific event, those in attendance will bid on jeans donated by Miley Cyrus, Ryan Seacrest, Michael Kors and Sweeney herself.

Alison Sweeney is a busy woman. She's pregnant with her second child and is prominently involved with a number of story lines on Days of Our Lives.

The actress did find time, however, to speak with Michael Fairman about a number of topics. Here are a couple experpts from the interview:

Q: Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your new baby girl! Are you excited for your husband Dave, and son Ben, to welcome another member into the family mix?
A: Thanks! Dave, Ben and I are THRILLED to be welcoming a baby girl into our family. It’s so exciting.

Q: What did you think when Sami caught EJ and Nicole in an elevator half-naked? And then the other man in her life, Lucas, had just been with Chloe in an elevator !
A: Those scenes were crazy- such a weird set of circumstances that have set off a whole new direction in the story!

Q: What are Sami’s feelings at this point for Chloe and Nicole?
A: Sami has never really had female “friends” so I suppose she is not surprised to be backstabbed by Chloe and Nicole.

Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney was spooted at the Summit Entertainment's Fly Me To The Moon premiere on Sunday in Los Angeles. She attended the event with son Ben.

We already knew that Alison Sweeney was pregnant.

But it's now been announced that the Days of Our Lives star is expecting a girl. Exciting news!

"The whole experience of having a little girl, I'd love that," Sweeney told People last month.

Her wish has come true, as Sweeney told Entertainment Tonight that her daughter is expected to arrive in January.

"I am feeling fantastic," she said. "I have moments of extreme morning sickness, but I get through it. Hopefully, I will be past it soon."

As previously reported, life just got a little more complicated for the hardest-working gal in showbiz.

Alison Sweeney is pregnant with her second child. It's due January 20 and it can't help but cause us to woner if Days of Our Lives Days will have her crazy-ass character, Sami, also get knocked up; Sweeney hopes she does.

"I'd feel bad if the crew had to hide my pregnancy for months and months," the actress said. "Besides, Sami just gave birth to twins. What's one more?"

Is there another baby on the way for Sami on Days of Our Lives?

Congratulations are in order for Alison Sweeney and husband Ben: the couple is is expecting its second child!

According to People Magazine, the Days of Our Lives star made the announcement last night in front of the season for The Biggest Loser, the reality show Sweeney hosts.

"She told them that, in a season all about family, hers is about to get bigger," says her rep, Carrie Simons.

Why am I humming that old song “My boyfriends back and you’re gonna be in trouble…” ha… because BRYAN’S BACK!!! Yay!!!!

Bryan, James and I shot some photos for Soap Opera Digest today, so that’ll be out in early May. It’s so great having him back, but uh… OMG – the scenes around Lucas’ return [to Days of Our Lives] are… (insert adjective here – correct answer? All of the above)!!! So total classic soap. I have so much I want to say about this… seriously.

I’m dying to tell you all about it right now… but of course, you know me… I’d hate to spoil it for all of you. So, you’ll just have to watch and we can discuss when you get caught up!

It’s been so fun working with Dee and Drake more lately. They are so AWESOME and fun to do scenes with. And the ‘new’ John just cracks me up. It’s so fun to watch Drake working on the character, and all his ideas. I love how even in the middle of disaster, or emotional turmoil, John will just say something that has everyone turning to him thinking “wtf?!!”. Lol.

Alison Sweeney is more than just content that Ed Scott is now a writer on Days of Our Lives. Regarding Scott, the actress recently told Boston Now:

“It's fantastic.  We're so lucky.  He's such an amazing producer. He made such an impression on the set from the moment he got here with his enthusiasm and his work ethic and his strive for perfection, and that's what I admire so much because that's my mentality…

He wants it to be right, he wants it to be good, he wants it to be perfect.  He is someone you can look up to and someone you can work hard for.”

And Sweeney is used to working hard, especially since she has to juggle her successful television career with taking care of her family: husband David Sanov and two-year-old son Benjamin Edward.

“It's not easy,” she said of balancing family with work, which includes hosting NBC's The Biggest Loser.  “I couldn't do it if I didn't love all the jobs; I love being a Mom, I love my son, and my husband.  I am so lucky to have such a supporting, loving family, and they are with me as much as they can be.  We do stuff together and have quality family time as much as possible.”
