Melissa Claire Egan graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Dramatic Art. She always knew she wanted to be an actress.

This Pound Ridge, New York-native guest starred on One Tree Hill and Dawson's Creek before landing a role in the 2005 movie, Wrestling.

On July 10, 2006, the youngster (she was born on September 28, 1981) debuted on All My Children as runaway mother Annie McDermott. Coincidentally, one of her first acting appearances was on this show.
