Bio
Born in Silver Springs, Maryland, Crystal Chappell studied computer science at Coast Carolina College and journalism at the University of South Carolina. She graduated and moved to NYC to pursue acting.
Chappell is largely known to daytime audiences for her portrayal of Dr. Carly Manning on Days of Our Lives and Maggie Carpenter on One Life to Live.
But she made her debut on Guiding Light on July 5, 1999 in the role of Olivia Spencer. A 2002 Daytime Emmy Award-winner for Outstanding Supporting Actress, Crystal was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in 2007.
