Episode Guide

Part One ... Nick advises Phyllis that according to Michael, they will not hear anything about her appeal until next week. However, as Lauren barks orders at Michael about the preparations for Thanksgiving, he gets a call that the decision is in. Later, the warden advises Phyllis that she has won her appeal and will be released. Michael calls Nick and lets him know that Phyllis is coming home. Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Kevin are amused to hear Amber making plans for a special meal for Cane.

Part Two ... Lily offers to help with the holiday food drive. Asked to help out with feeding the homeless, Cane advises Kevin he can't because he'll be working late. Neil (Kristoff St. John) advises Lily that Karen won't be coming for Thanksgiving dinner. Hearing Cane's working Thursday, Lily invites him to dinner and he accepts. While Cane chats with her father, Lily is stunned when Karen admits she's not coming because she knows they don't want her there. Devon (Bryton) points out that Karen seems good for Neil.

Part Three... An apologetic Lily later convinces Karen to change her mind. Daniel's thrilled to hear his mom is being released and when he arrives at the prison, she asks him to take her to the hospital. The mediator from the hospital sits down with Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to discuss what to do about Victoria and her baby. Nikki again claims that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wouldn't want to endanger the life of the baby while Victor insists on saving his daughter's life. The mediator suggests they take a break and meet again. Neil's happy to hear Karen's coming for dinner but asks who invited Cane (Daniel Goddard).
