Kendall Hart Blogs About Faith

Kendall Hart Photo Forget what Alicia Minshew thinks. All My Children fans wish to get inside the mind of her character, Kendall Hart.

Therefore, we present you with the Kendall Hart blog from Friday, entitled "Faith."

As nice as it was to get outside of the linoleum hallways and bad lighting in the hospital, I can't be far away from my babies. I know it's crazy, but I feel like if I'm not there every second something wrong will happen. I'm a mom, and my children need me there. I know it's a little irrational and completely sane all at the same time - I don't know. I usually have answer - most of the time it's the wrong one - but this time... with my sons...

I have no clue what I should be doing. Zach says all the right things (and he means them) to calm me down. Without him there is no way I could get through one minute of this torture. Maybe Zach's right... I can leave my sons for a little bit and have faith that everything will be okay...

What exactly is Kendall talking about? Catch up now with our All My Children episode guides.

Cameron Mathison to Host First-Ever Soap Cruise

Cameron Mathison Wanna sail the beautiful Western Caribbean with famed daytime drama star Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) of All My Children?

Fans will have just this chance on the first annual Soap Cruise.

Ten of the most beloved personalities from Days of Our Lives, All My Children, The Young & the Restless, General Hospital, As the World Turns and The Bold and the Beautiful will also be on board.

The vacation will take place over four days aboard Carnival Cruise Lines’ luxurious Imagination, commencing on Thursday, Nov. 15 through Monday, Nov. 19, 2007.

Also appearing on the cruise liner, which you can read more about at the Soap Cruise website, will be:

They Call Melissa Claire Egan Boots...

Melissa Claire Egan Melissa Claire Egan goes by "Annie" on All My Children.

But her cast mates call her something different off-screen: It’s “Boots,” and it’s from that one time when she wore a full-body, flesh-colored suit for a love scene with Cameron Mathison and, course, nothing else but a pair of boots.

Ever since then, the cast and crew are fond of referring to her as such.

Meanwhile, Mathison has an on-set nickname of his own: Snaps. How come? It's due to his infamous reputation as the go-to hot, shirtless guy., Egan said.

“… Ryan is always having his shirt ripped off of him. When the show calls for this to happen, the wardrobe department actually sews snaps onto Cameron’s shirts, so they are easier to remove in the scenes.”

And we're sure his female fans don't mind that at all.

Rick and Phoebe

On All My Children, meanwhile, does Jonathon really wish to simply get into Ava's pants, as she accuses him of? We can't blame the man if so, but you can decide for yourself after reading that show's latest episode guide.

You should also read about what happened on One Life to Live yesterday. Marty has quite the time in jail, we can say that much. Don't miss out on it, fans.

Brian Gaskill On: Family Life, New Castmates and More

Brian Gaskill is a forthcoming fellow.

He held nothing back in a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest. Let's check out what the Guiding Light star had to say...

Brian GaskillSoap Opera Digest: You recently became a vegetarian. Care to share why?
Brian Gaskill: It's a choice both my wife and I made. My father-in-law brought over some freshly cut pork ribs and my wife said, "Nah. No more!" We just imagined the pig being killed that day and she found out a couple months later from the slaughterhouse that they just use sledgehammers to knock them out. The thing is, I was never a big meat-and-potatoes guy anyway.

Digest: Speaking of your wife, she's a rock musician. Does she tour at all?
Gaskill: When [daughter] Alabama was a baby, she would drive and play a lot. We kind of got started off MySpace. That was her version of getting herself out there, which works. Before people start thinking she's Milli Vanilli, she has to get out there and play live [laughs]. She just did a couple of shows with her new music and I was so pumped up about it and I'm so proud of her. She's in the middle of mixing new songs and I can't wait to get them up on MySpace.

Digest: Do you dabble in music?
Gaskill: No. I write lyrics, but that's about as far as I go. I have ideas...Sometimes I think I missed my calling because I love music so much. I wouldn't want to play it, but I like the idea of producing and mixing and playing with the sounds and engineering. It's telling a story. It reminds me of directing or writing. You're telling a story with sound. Anything that goes back to telling a story I somehow relate to.

Digest: Your daughter is about to turn two years old. Is she "terrible" yet?
Gaskill: She said, "Mama" first, but now "Mama" won't come out of her mouth. I think she's messing with us because she calls [Tonya] "Daddy" and she has a smirk on her face [laughs]!

Digest: What attracted you to the role of Dylan?
Gaskill: When I read about Dylan's history, I was more interested in who Dylan was as a teenager and in his early 20s. I would like to bring more of that emotionally to the surface. GL is a more realistic world, I think, for soap operas, as real as it can be.

With Gus [Ricky Paull Goldin] and Natalia [Jessica Leccia], it's all about a kind of young love sprouting up again…It's more tangible in the sense that she's clearly been holding this torch and it's this real first love. Whereas with Harley and Dylan, it's this teenage thing. It's not as quickly tangible for the audience to see if they can build this [relationship], added to the fact that they have a kid and it just sort of happened based on the circumstances. It'll be interesting.

Hunt Block Coming to One Life to Live

Hunt Block You don't get much more experienced as a soap opera actor than Hunt Block.

The man that appeared on As The World Turns, All My Children and Guiding Light is now adding another daytime show to his resume: One Life to Live.

The details surrounding his time in Llanview aren't known yet, but we'll let you know when we have all the particulars. For now, we know he'll portray an unnamed FBI agent, tasked with racking down a missing person.

For now, Block joins other hunks such as Tim Adams and Jason-Shane Scott as newcomers to the show. Also joining One Life to Live? Farah Fath.

We can't wait!
