Eden Riegel Dishes on All My Children Lesbian Love

Eden Riegel's character of Bianca is featured prominently on All My Children these days.

She's engaged to Reese, and talked about the relationship with Soap Opera Digest:

I love working with Tamara [Braun, Reese] so much. The story is intriguing; she didn't tell her mother or her sister that she was in love with a woman, so much so that they had decided to have a child together, which as far as I'm concerned is a bigger commitment than marriage, a decision that needs to be taken even more seriously than getting married.

Tamara and I had tried to get together and get to know each other and get used to each other and go over our characters' history, but they were running so early the day we taped our first scenes, they changed our call time to hours earlier and we didn't have time to rehearse, so it was literally like, 'Hi, I'm Eden,' 'Hi, I'm Tamara,' and then it was time to be in love with each other. But we just had an instant connection.

Andrea Evans Ends Run on One Life To Live

Following a six-month stint as Tina, Andrea Evans completed taping at One Life to Live last week.

"There was always an understanding that it would be short term," Evans told Soap Opera Digest. "I didn't know how this was going to affect my own personal life with having to do so much traveling, and I'm in a situation where I can't relocate."

The series released the following statement to dispel any rumors:

"ABC and One Life to Live were thrilled to have Andrea Evans reprise the role of Tina Lord after 18 years. Her return was made possible with the understanding that it would be short term as Ms. Evans' life, family and home are on the west coast. One Life to Live did not ask that she move across the country in order for her to return to the show."

The door is still open for Evans to return in the future.

Susan Lucci Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

All My Children star Susan Lucci was voted off Dancing with the Stars last night.

As anyone who has followed this actress' career would expect, though, she handled the elimination with nothing but class.

“I feel so much gratitude for the opportunity to have this particular experience in my lifetime. I want to thank all you wonderful audience members here, the fans…and most importantly i need to thank this dancer, this incredible teacher, this incredible man, Tony Dovolani.”

A Look at JR Martinez

Many props must be given to ABC for its upcoming story line involving JR Martinez.

As previously reported, he's a real-life veteran of the Iraq war that is coming aboard All My Children in the role of Taylor's ex-fiance, Brot Monroe.

As the network has announced in a new press release, Brot's combat-related injuries are determined by Martinez's real life injuries:

In February of 2003, Mr. Martinez was deployed to Iraq and in April, 2003, while serving as a driver of a Humvee, the tire hit a landmine and he suffered severe burns to more than 40 percent of his body.

Martinez spent 34 months in the hospital and underwent 32 surgeries. He's an inspiration.
