Until recently, Oliva was a doctor at Genoa City Memorial Hospital. She's the mother of Nate Hastings. In 2007, Olivia returned to Genoa City to comfort her family in the wake of Dru's presumed death. She also explained that her current occupation in Mali, Africa was working in the Doctors Without Borders Organization.
