Cooper Barrett

Cooper Barrett was introduced to General Hospital fans during the February 2007 sweeps hostage crisis. He was one of the armed gunmen working for James Craig. On January 29, 2008, Mac Scorpio called a press conference and announced that the TMK murders have stopped because Cooper Barrett has been revealed to be the TMK and has committed suicide.
But the first part of that statement wasn't true.
