Fans of The Young and the Restless aren't the only ones displeased about the firing of Don Diamont.
Longtime co-star Eric Braeden in on record as being dismayed by the move, as well.
"I was very sad about that, to be quite frank with you. He did some of his best work in the last months, where he played the ‘shifty’ guy and the bad guy and you don’t know quite what he is up to. I think he played that extremely well," Braeden said, adding:
"I always think that’s a mistake to let people go that have been part of the fabric as long as he has been. Furthermore, he was related to people on the show, and personally, I think those things are a mistake. If you want to want to save money, then cut down on hiring new actors."

Finally the story was gettting hot and interesting Brad was the only one who was bold enough to go toe to toe, face to face with Victor and he had gutz he would not back down, didn't care which way the chips fell....something Adam, David Chow or Jack have not truly accomplished! Why ruin it by letting him drown? even though I like Victor it just made the story that much more exciting with Brad's charachter. I was hoping maybe he could be revived from the cold water! Now the story is back to boring, same ole same ole! What a great loss......

I will miss Brad (Don Diamont)..his character was always a good version of a bad boy. I agree with Victor, keep the old tried and true actors and no more young ones. Brad was always a match for Victor (even more so than Jack). Victor had a respect for Brad because he would not back down from him.. I too was hoping that he could be revived from the water..Bobby (Dallas) was revived in the shower.. Brad will be truly missed..

The writers of Young and Restless made a very stupid move by removing Brad. Don has been and the show a very long time that reflects badly on the network. He has children to take care of and support.
They should bring it back from the dead!

Don has been on the Young and the Restless for a very long time, he really played the role of Brad quite well. He was the only one not afraid to stand up to Eric Braden (Victor). Why would they write Brad off the Y & R just has Victor wants to be a father to Abby. Victor has known for years that Abby was his daughter, why take an interest in her now. Given the fact that J.T. stated that he was a Navy Seal and could protect himself in very cold weather, this should leave an open for Don to return. Being a Navy Seal would allow him to shut down is organs in freezing water and survive. It would be great if the writers would realize they made a terrible mistake and return Don to the Y & R at a later date. After all they brought Hunter Tylo (Taylor) back from the dead on the Bold and Beautiful.
Please bring Don back to the Y & R.

What is done is done.... No bringing him back, too bad. If you got rid of Noah's girlfriend, Amber and Daniel, you could have saved a lot of money and maybe keep good ol' Brad.

The remark about the navy seals, Yes I heard that to. They have special magical powers that are taught to them in the seals training, that allows them to shut down their organs. He could have shut down his organs and came back, but the embalming probaly would have killed him. D-D-D. I do think its a mistake that they took him off the show. Try getting rid of Abby, that kid sucks at acting.

I agree with comment number five from Kathy, get rid of the lame little characters like Amber and goofy azz Daniel and make room for the big boys like Brad! Plus he was a navy seal and survived the Nazi guys trying to kill him and his mother so a little snow and ice should have been a walk in the park for ole Bradski.
