CBS Comments on Hot Nuke Sex!

Finally.

More than a year after Noah and Luke shared the first gay male kiss in the history of American soap operas, on As the World Turns, the couple took the next step: they had sex.

Hot Nuke Action!

CBS says this has pretty much been the plan all along.

"For the last year and a half, we've been telling Luke and Noah's story in a sensitive, respectful way and their romance has evolved over time. The scenes in Monday's episode represent a natural progression of their relationship," a spokesperson for the CBS serial said about the unexpected love-making milestone this week.

What's your take? Was it worth the wait?

Cameron Mathison Joins Good Morning America

Don't worry, fans. Cameron Mathison isn't leaving All My Children.

But the actor has added a new gig to his resume: correspondent for Good Morning America as a correspondent.

"I'm really excited. I'm now officially part of the Good Morning America correspondent team," Mathison said to OK!. "Obviously I love my gig on All My Children, but it'll be kind of nice to focus on just these two, not jumping around killing myself."

A Busy, Handsome Man

He went on:

"I love my work as an actor but I think it [Good Morning America] is an incredible show. I love the people I work with and I just step into the building and I learn from everyone there. That's the ulitmate for me."

Blake Berris Speaks on Final Days of Our Lives Scene

Berris spoke to Soap Opera Digest about it:

"[The final scenes] were great. It was nice because as of a couple of months ago, the stakes have gotten higher and higher and this was the hearing, so jumping back into it for the last two days was really intense and emotional. It was a cathartic ending."

Kristina Sisco Romero to Direct an Episode of As the World Turns

Kristina Sisco Romero will return to As the World Turns tomorrow.

The actress, who left the role of Abigail in 2002, actually directed the January 15 episode of the show.

"It was quite by happenstance, because my talent manager and I had seen some rumors on the Internet that they were thinking about bringing Abigail back to the show," Romero told Soap Opera Digest. "So she ended up calling Chris [Goutman, executive producer] and talking to him and she starting telling him about the things that I've been doing.

I just graduated USC with my Masters in writing and directed some things, so it came to the point where she asked if there were any opportunities. He said, 'If Kristina's really interested in directing, she can come out and shadow the directors and learn.'"

Natalia Livingston Previews Return to General Hospital

On tomorrow afternoon's General Hospital viewers — and eventually Nikolas — will be treated to a shock when the late Emily Quartermaine appears to rise from the dead.

The truth is, of course, is that Natalia Livingston is back on the drama in a new role: a mysterious young woman named Rebecca.

The actress recently previewed the part with TV Guide:

TVGuide.com: Was this comeback plan in mind when you left?
Livingston: I knew that there was a possibility for a comeback, yeah. We ended up waiting a few months, then I got a call from Bob Guza and [acting director] Mark Teschner in November: "We've got this storyline ready — what are you thinking?" I thought, "Wow, it's just such an incredible opportunity."

Rebecca, General Hospital

TVGuide.com: What did you think about when making the decision to return?
Livingston: What was really important to me was remembering my five years on the show and how happy I was. I know that this is a group of people I love to work with, that it's a job I know I love. Second to that, I thought this would be challenging because it's a new character. It's not a recast, like when I stepped into Amber Tamblyn's shoes [as Emily]. This is a chance to have something new and my own.

The Bachelor Contestants to Tour General Hospital

Reality TV is about to meet daytime TV.

On Monday, January 26, Jason Mesnick - pictured, star of ABC's The Bachelor - will take the remaining suitors on his show on to the Los Angeles-based set of General Hospital.

Once there, the women will be instructed in the fine art of screen kissing and enjoy the opportunity to act out their secret fantasies with Jason. Ooh. La. La!
