One Life To Live Writer Reacts to Controversial Story Line
Numerous One Life To Live viewers are unsure how to react to the story line that has Todd cozying up to amnesiac Marty, the woman he raped?
"I understand the initial impulse," Head Writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest. "The goal is to more to take these two characters who have an unbelievable, dark history with each other and explore where we could go if they didn't have that obstacle — the rape — between them."

I think it's fascinating. Like a car wreck you can't look away. There's no denying the chemistry between Trevor St. John and Susan Haskell. In the end it will be the consequences that matter. We can't have them live happily every after but we can have this bizarre push/pull between them.
