Raya Meddine has been let go from The Young and the Restless.
No final airdate has been announced for the character of Sabrina, but a few clips/The Young and the Restless spoilers make it seem as though Sabrina is involved in a tragedy that will unfold around the time of the Charity Ball.
Raya Meddine, who has been let go, poses alongside co-star Eric Braeden.
Meddinea had signed a three-year contract in February, but Sabrina never really caught on as a character. Vewers commonly expressed their disappoinment in her in The Young and the Restless forums.

I like Sabrina very much. Victor and Sabrina made a very good couple. I wish they would let her stay and follow the story line. I watch this every day to see what Victor and Sabrina are doing. I get tired of the same old story line about Nicki and Victor. I would like to see both Victor and Nicki get over each other and move on. If Victor and Nicki end up back together I will not watch it. I guess I will start watching other stories on a different channel than CBS if Sabrina is let go and Nicki ends up with Victor. I loved Victor and Sabrina's wedding that was great. Please keep Sabrina on the show, she is a breath of fresh air, the underdog. She is worth saving.

While I didn't think things would last with Victor, I did like Sabrina on the show.
Jana mentioned on the July 17th episode that someone would die tragically and that a couple would be torn apart due to this death. She got this information from her ouija board. Perhaps this will be related to Sabrina's exit?
Jana seemed to think she herself would be the one to die soon. Since Jana is working for Sabrina, it might be a double-death.
However, Nikki's current hubby, David, is also going to reportedly die tragically soon. Will it be David and Sabrina then who both die?

Questions-Where in the WORLD is Skyy!!!!!!!!!!!! did we all forget victory had more than 1 vasectomy including the one he had before nick & vic jr. were concieved?!!!!!! ashley withdrew his 'littlemen' from a 'littleman bank' to concieve abby. when in the heck is jill and brad going to be caught for the blood all over there hands? who was crazy enough to knock up chloe? where is glorias baby-daddy? why the h*** would cbs want to cancel Y&R, or "fans" complain about the only grown person who loves vic sr.enough to get her kicked off the show? why is nikki soo....... da** dumb....! i'm digressing. Y&R, Why not just call victoria rowell to come back as drew, she waiting and so are we! where's johns ghost? i'm sorry, i love the kids and i'm black but if ana sings again i'm going to scream... Y&R when are you all going to find something for that child to do? yeah, tyra too. lastly, when is someone going to whip chloe, colleen, jill, brad, jeff, victoia, nick, and jack as***!these characters deserve a simple good old fashion.

No I don't think Subrina should be taken off the show, but I think she shoulden remain in Victor's wife, Also I think the truth should come out about the baby. Everyone knows that Victor got fixed years ago.

I feel like turning the Young and the Restless off and that is th first time I have ever felt that way. I loved Sabrina as Victor's wife. I thought she added a new dimension to his character. He and Nikki have just gone as far as they could go. I am over them! She had a humanity and hope that is needed for this show. I guess ugliness somehow has to prevail for this show to have success. Such a sad commentary for our collective mentality. That Chloe character is awful and you are reducing Jack to be a zero and totally unappealing. Is there no one to be decent? The freshness that was added by Sabrina is now lost. The other characters cycling was understandable but this is stupid. So for whatever it is worth you guys have now lost me - a formally dedicated follower of Y & R. Pitiful!!!

I,m really sick about you letting sabrina's character go I think it's a big mistake. I think it's about time there was a character to put these rich spoiled Newman kids and their mother in their place. If anything I would get rid of chloe's character it's stupid!!!!

Get rid of that trash Chloe--what a dumb mistake again by Y & R to get rid of a very talented, beautiful lady like Sabrina. I fast forward when Chloe is in a scene. Her acting even stinks.

I don't know what going on with the writer's on y and r. Letting sabrina go total mistake. They would want to let chloe go she is nuts!!! I'll admit i didn't like the sabrina thing at first but with all of the recent events i really want her to live and finish her y and r life. if they do right chloe off i just want lilly to beat her a** first. She's like a sheila in the making. Maybe that's what they're trying to do make them an updated version of sheila and lauren. Well y and r i hope ya'll get it together and start making the viewers happy or we'll stop watching

If anyone leaves the show it should be Nikki or Chole I am so tired of both of them. Sabrina is a great actress. Please do not let Sabrina die if she do I will not watch the show anymore. I am a big fan of the young and restless but if you all get rid of a great actress I will not watch the show anymore.

I know the writers of the young and restless might have Victor and Nikki get back together once Sabrina dies if so I will not watch the show anymore. I do not want to see Victor back with Nikki. I would like to see Sabrina get well and her and victor together and they have a baby. Please get rid of Chole she is a waste and a horrible actress. If sabrina dies i will no longer watch the show.

There has been times in real life that someone was pronounce dead and hours later they start breathing again. Do this wis Subrina and take her off another way. Send her away on for something and never come back. Please bring her back for a little while longer and for God sakes kill off Chole. Let her runn in a ditch. Victory needs to get back friend with Subrina and her Dad needs to forgive her. Please don't do them this way.

I emailed Y&R begging the writters not to kill off Sebrina from the show but they did anyway. I love Raya character Sebrina she is beautiful and I was rooting for Victor to go after her when he followed her to CA. I am so mad now it is going to take me a month r so even b 4 I want to look at Y&R again.

I love Sabrina as a character and I love her and Victor as a couple. I respect her character on the show and she has such a presence about her. I am deeply saddened that the writers at Y & R have allowed her character to die. She is such a breath of fresh air and so many characters are not "respectable" these days. Even my husband started watching the show since Victor and Sabrina became a couple. We watched the show every day because of them. I hope they will find some way to undo this. I think letting Sabrina go was a HUGE mistake. How can they keep Chloe on the show and let Sabrina go? The Chloe, Cane, Lily storyline doesn't hold even half the fascination of Victor and Sabrina. Writers, please bring Sabrina back. Thank you!

i think it was a bad move to let sabrina die. i really didn't like her character or the actress at first, but realized she was so much better than the same old crew. why not eliminate lily and kane, the biggest bores of all. and chloe.

I think letting Sabrina go was a terrible decision. as a character, she was kind, and was unselfish. they need more people like that on the show. I hope to see her soon in another soap, or a movie. she is wonderful and pretty!

y & r, hugh mistake letting Sabrina go. Her character could have brought so much to the show. What were you thinking. We all loved her. you need to bring her back as a twin sister and let victor fall in love all over again. Bring her back!!! I have watched y & r since day one but this is it if she does not return. Nikki needs to go...... everyone is tired of her. You have worn out the y & r fans with victor and nikki yuck!!!

Are you kidding me? What a stupid mistake to take off Sebrina. I've watched Y&R since the beginning and this was one of the best pairings that I have ever seen. Who ever made the decision to let her go should be the one to be fired.
