Elizabeth Hendrickson is joining the cast of The Young and the Restless.
We don't have much more information on this development at the moment, but we can say we're glad to see the former All My Children star back on daytime TV!

Tom Pelphrey has been back on Guiding Light as Jonathan for just a week. But, as the actor tells Soap Opera Digest, he's already back to a few of his old bad habits.
In a few days, the character has nearly knocked someone over the head, drugged an unsuspecting victim and run off with Sarah again.
"I love it," said Pelphrey. "We have so much fun with everything."
The actor is thrilled to be back on Guiding Light, but admits that returning as a character everyone thought was dead proved to be a somewhat awkward transition.
"Things have to happen really fast," he said. "Soon after I get back, they have [the story] pick up, like, 'Oh, my God! You're alive?' We had these scenes with Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus), and he'd say, 'Are we going to address the fact that I thought you were dead?' and [the-powers-that-be said] no, so Ricky would come in and do a double-take and start talking. It's been kind of funny."
The laughs don't stop there on set.
According to Pelphrey, Daniel Cosgrove has been responsible for tons of side-splitting since he returned to Guiding Light.
"Every day I work with Danny there's a hilarious outtake," said Pelphrey. "The other day we were doing a scene and we were supposed to be angry at each other, so we were straight-faced. All of a sudden, Danny pulls a huge roll of duct tape out of the inside of his jacket and he says, 'Shut the door so we can get real.'"
Before Scott Bryce leaves As the World Turns - the actor has, sadly, been let go from the series - he sat down with Soap Opera Digest to discuss the transformation of his character.
Specifically, the fallout from Craig's recent misdeeds.
"It was tough to play, because I had to play the ambivalence of him and not the monstrosity," said Bryce, noting the awful twist of Craig slipping Meg a miscarriage drug. "What was driving him insane was not so much that she was pregnant by somebody else which would drive any man insane but that it was Paul, his arch-enemy."
Not that anything excuses what Craig did.
"When I first heard about it and I didn't know that he knocked the glass out of Meg's hand, I was thinking, This is irredeemable,'" said Bryce. "If he had actually gone through with it... forget it. There is never any coming back from that."
Overall, Bryce noted: "Craig doesn't know he's a bad guy, so he gets obsessive-compulsive and it's like a freight train. It's very hard to stop before there's huge damages."

Now, we're excited to announced that Pat Benatar and husband Neil Giraldo will perform their original duet "Every Time I Fall" on The Young and the Restless, likely at Neil's club, Indigo.
Moreover, Benatar will also try her hand at acting! The singer best known for the song "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" will attempt to help Karen (Nia Peeples) overcome her stage fright so that she can take a stab at singing in Neil's (Kristoff St. John) establishment.
Look for Benatar on The Young and the Restless on February 14 and 15.
Former All My Children and As the World Turns star Cady McClain has revealed in her official blog that she's been diagnosed with a fibroid tumor:
"Like my previous consumptive character, Rosanna, I seem to have manifested myself a nice fibroid tumor on my uterus. Why am I sharing this with you? Because it scared the shit out of me, and now it turns out its not so bad. LOTS of women have these things.
They are not cancerous, and you can leave them or have them out depending on the size and the symptoms they may be causing you. Im gonna have mine out.
The good news is, I have a good doctor who can get it out without cutting me open like a watermelon. Its called laproscopic (sp?) surgery. They go in with a tube through your belly and break it up and suck it out.
Gross, I know, but this is how it is. The bad news is you cant get pregnant for 6 months after, but thats okay. Perhaps there is a bit of God in all this."

TV Guide: Are you still shocked over the insane fan reaction to Nick and Phyllis romantic pairing?
Joshua Morrow: I am totally surprised, and still shocked. Soap fans generally dont like a lot of change. Sharon and Nick were this "Romeo and Juliet" story. I thought it was going to be a hard pill for fans to swallow. When they first began talking about Nick and Phyllis, I asked the writers: Are you sure?; Im not feeling it.
But they said they liked our energy, chemistry and the shock value associated with the pairing. I went into the story very skeptical, but was immediately blown away by the level of chemistry we shared. It was very easy. I was nervous though Michelle Stafford [Phyllis] is this very big, dynamic actress.
Dude the way they told that story was genius by showing Michelles vulnerable side, and then the fans went wild they love Nick and Phyllis, let me tell you. I wouldve lost that bet, for sure!
