Could Sam's accident affect the custody situation? Maybe. There are some rumors that Sam will finger Elizabeth as the one who hit her (even though Sam really has no idea who was behind the wheel). Sources go on to state that Elizabeth might end up arrested, with Lucky being awarded custody of Cameron and Jake.
So, the big question would be: Is Sam acting out of revenge when she says Liz hit her?

Guiding Light - the Procter & Gamble Productions soap opera that is the longest-running television show in broadcast history - has announced its plans to take on a revolutionary new production model.
The production changes, which will take effect immediately and begin airing on CBS on February 29 will bring a modern, more realistic look to the show, allowing viewers to be entertained by the stories and characters they love in a more intimate way.
The show's new model will represent an end-to-end transformation in the way the show is created, from direction to editing to scenic design.

As previously announced, Mario Van Peebles (pictured)will be joining All My Children as a potential love interest for Erica (Susan Lucci). We now have more information on the character this famous actor will be portraying.
His name is Samuel Woods and he's a prosecutor/senatorial candidate. Mr. Woods is not overly supportive of rights for gay/lesbians couples, however, which leads to the return of Bianca. Yes, Eden Rigel is coming back to the show!

Other All My Children rumors swirling about the role of Van Peebles revolve around his character setting his sights on the newly returned Dr. Angie Hubbard one his fling with Erica is through. Or, perhaps, Samuel is somehow connected to Jesses death (which we will soon learn was faked in order to keep Angie and Frankie safe)?
