Shirley Jones has never been on a soap opera before.

Therefore, the veteran actress recently explained how different her stint on Days of Our Lives has been compared to other roles she's enjoyed.

"I had never done six shows in six days, which is how they do it as you well know,” Jones told Soapdom.com. “And, I had page after page, after page of dialogue to memorize, as well as an Irish brogue. So it was not easy. But I ended up loving it, had a great time with everybody, and they couldn’t be more helpful. I had a good time.”

Kevin Stapleton appears as Preston and goes on a date with Harley (Beth Ehlers) on Wednesday, February 6. In a previous life, Kevin was one of the many actors to portray Kevin on One Life to Live (1996-1998).

He also appeared in Dazzle with Kim Ulrich (ex-Diana; As the World Turns) and on Broadway in Salome.

Kimberly McCullough first appeared on General Hospital at age seven.

Through it all, the character of Robin Scorpio has been a fan favorite. This Valentine’s Day, SOAPnet will take a look back at her loves in a special programming event, as the network premieres its Valentine's Day special, "Robin Unwrapped."

It will air on Sunday, February 10 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET/PT.

Episodes featuring the loves of Robin's life will be wrapped around clips of some of Robin’s milestone moments. Here's the lineup:

Although blinded by his illness, Stone is able to see Robin one last time before he dies.

Signy Coleman is coming back to The Young and the Restless!

The veteran actress will reprise the role of Hope Adams Wilson, a part she originated in 1993 and portrayed it until 1997; then again in 2000 and 2002. The role was last played by Beth Toussaint.

When fans last saw Hope on the series, she was taking a call from Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who was looking for Victor (Eric Braeden). At the time, Victor had been visiting Hope as he wrestled with his seizures.

This time around, Hope is coming back as part of a story line on The Young and the Restless that will see her and Victor's son, Victor Jr. (Chris Engen) materialize and become a part of the Genoa City canvas.

When does the fun start? February 11!

Amelia Heinle is about to make a strong come back on The Young and the Restless.

The actress - just gave birth to a child with husband and co-star Thad Luckibnbill - has been away on maternity leave, but will make quite the impact shortly. Here are a few fun facts about Heinle:

• On the set of Loving, Heinle became close friends with the late Nancy Addison Altman, who portrayed her mother.

• Heinle played Jack in the pilot for Jack and Jill, but was replaced by Amanda Peet.

• Soap Opera Digest named her one of the "Most Beautiful Women" in daytime.

• Appeared on All My Children from 2001-2004.

Here's a look at one major As the World Turns story line for sweeps period...

The "Who Killed Dusty?" whodunit takes a weird twist when the killer decides to get revenge against the prime suspect, Lily, and her estranged hubby, Holden, who has taken the blame for the murder.

But chaos is good for a broken marriage: before sweeps is over, the couple share a kiss!

TV Guide Canada has a message for Angelina Jolie: watch your back! Guiding Light’s Crystal Chappell proves you don’t have to be rail-thin to be hot!

The magazine recently talked with the Guiding Light star:

TVGuide.ca: It must be lonely being so sexy, gorgeous, and talented, huh? Let’s talk about your beauty for a moment: you prove you don’t have to be rail-thin to be sexy and I’ve always admired that.
Crystal Chappell: Wow — thank you every much! That’s nice to hear! [laughs] Yes, I prefer to be healthy and don’t want to starve myself. I did starve myself in my 20s — and it became unhealthy. And I succeeded; I was 112 pounds and very miserable! I think curves are beautiful.

TVG: As a mother, do you worry about this unrealistic and dangerous image Hollywood is promoting?
Chappell: Yes, it worries me. As a mom, you worry about these girls who are obsessed with being thin and unhealthy. We certainly need to clear this up in this business before it gets out of hand and people start dying. Call me crazy but I enjoy seeing women with wrinkles and fuller figures; I think it’s beautiful.
