Kristian Alfonso Stars in Soft Porn

Correction: Kristian Alfonso starred in a soft porn.

But fans will get a chance to see this Days of Our Lives actress featured in a very different role next month.

SoapNet has purchased the rights to Blindfold: Acts of Obsession and will be showing it Sunday night, December 16. Check out the synopsis of this sexy thriller:

Alfonso appears alongside Judd Nelson, Shannon Doherty and Michael Wood, playing a cop who is investigating a serial killer that uses handcuffs and blindfolds as his tools of the trade. Yes, it's that sort of movie.

Kristian Alfonso stars here on Days of Our Lives. Her past roles have involved far less clothing, however.

Billy Magnussen: Coming to As the World Turns

Billy Magnussen is currently appearing on Broadway in "The Ritz."

But that play runs through December 9... and then As the World Turns fans can look forward to seeing him on their favorite show.

The actor will be taking on the role of Casey Hughes, so here's a primer about that character for those that have forgotten:

He's been missing from the series since being sent to prison earlier this year for jumping bail. Fans should remember that the character broke things off with Maddie (who is now in college) over the phone, stating that they were different people in different places.

Steve Burton Speaks on Jason Morgan, General Hosptial Spoilers

Warning: The following may contain General Hospital spoilers.

Steve Burton PictureSteve Burton recently took the time to discuss his character's recent interactions and relationships on the show. He talked about how, after his adoptive little sister Emily Quartermaine (Natalia Livingston) was strangled to death, Jason was devastated because he was quite protective of her.

Overflowing with remorse, Jason turns to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) for comfort, especially after hearing his ex-lover's moving eulogy for his sister.

"He goes to Elizabeth's house because he doesn't know where else to go," Burton explained. "She comes in and sees him. They hug and she leads him upstairs."

As Jason and Elizabeth give in to their emotions and eventually hop into bed, another question emerges: Is Jake safe with his mobster father?

"That's been the sticking point this whole time," the General Hospital star said. "Elizabeth thinks Jake would be safer if Lucky [Greg Vaughan] was the father. The danger is real, something could happen. Especially now with Johnny Zacchara [taking over the mob] and watching what his dad has done. He's a nut job.

Jason says, 'Do I want my kid to be in that kind of life?' He starts thinking about all that."

Dylan Bruce Dishes on As the World Turns

Dylan BruceDylan Bruce, new to As the World Turns, recently sat down with CBS.com. Here are excerpts from that discussion:

CBS.com: What other soaps did you test for?
Dylan Bruce: I screen-tested for One Life to Live, Days of Our Lives and As the World Turns twice. Then, I screen-tested twice for the "My Network TV" telenovela, the late night soaps. I actually booked one but they cancelled it a week before it started shooting.

CBS.com: What is your background?
Bruce: I am from Vancouver, British Colombia originally. I’m a Canadian citizen. Then I moved to Seattle with my mother. I went to the University of Washington. I was studying Economics. I was into Drama in high school but I didn’t think it was practical at the time so I started going into Business.

Then I took one Drama class [at the University of Washington] and I fell in love with it. I ended up double majoring in Drama and Economics. I graduated, and then I moved to San Diego and did some Theater down there. Then I moved to Los Angeles because I wanted to make some money. [Laughs] And the rest is happening right now.

CBS.com: Do you still live in L.A. or did you relocate to N.Y. for As the World Turns?
Bruce: I had a place [in L.A.] but I am putting all my eggs in one basket [in New York]. I don’t want to think about moving back to L.A.--I want to stay out here and be successful.

CBS.com: Who have you been working with?
Bruce: I’ve worked a lot with Kathryn Hays who plays Kim and Don Hastings who plays Bob. The majority of my scenes involve Kelley Hensley [Emily] and Grayson McCouch [Dusty]. They’ve all been very welcoming, unbelievably supportive. I feel so blessed to be working at this place with these people. It’s really a dream come true.

The Young and the Restless Boss: On the Way Out?

800010502_220_cache.png TV Guide's Michael Logan is hoping the writers' strike is good for The Young and the Restless.

How come? Because rumors have it that executive producer/head writer Lynn Marie Latham (pictured) - who Logan says "has nearly ruined the once-glorious soap" - will not return, no matter when and how the walkout ends.

When contacted, a representative for the CBS soap opera hemmed and hawed, but didn't deny Latham's ousting or reports that Sony programming VP Steve Kent has now taken command. Kent was supervising producer of Santa Barbara, arguably the best daytime drama ever.
