Alicia Minshew (Kendall) told a Soap Opera Weekly reporter recently that she was a bit displeased with the step backward that Kendall is taking revenge on Greenlee this late in the game.

“Being devious is always fun. But there are times when I feel she takes a few steps backward, and I don't want her to go backward," the actress said.

"I want her to realize that she has two children now, and revenge is not the way. I want to show that this woman has grown.”

How would Minshew write this story line on All My Children? Greenlee should be punished, but not this harshly.

Instead of taking this step backward, Minshew suggested forgiveness and a European vacation for Kendall and Zach, along with therapy and a friendship forever for Kendall and Greenlee (Sabine Singh).

Kate Linder first joined The Young and the Restless as a nameless day player in 1982.

Once the audience fell in love with her, however, this actress was here to stay. Still, think you know everything there is to know about Linder?

Take a look at these interesting tidbits:

• Her first line on The Young and the Restless was "Dinner is served."

• Esther also happens to be the name of Linder's grandmother, which co-star Cooper didn't know when she named the character.

• In 1991, Linder was held at knifepoint in her own home by a burglar, saying of the experience:

"Being an actress helped me through this. Not only being a flight attendant, but being an actress. As an actress, I'm trained to observe. I listen. And I thank God I'm here to talk about it."

• Linder is the celebrity spokesperson for the ALS Association.

According to Soap Opera Digest, the Buchanans are in for some serious surprises during Asa's will reading... including an appearance by Asa himself!

After exiting One Life to Live in March, Phil Carey appears in episodes airing on November 9, 12 and 13.

"Asa’s death impacted everybody in a large way," said Erika Slezak (Viki). "I think Phil was a wonderful Asa. He had something about him that was so strong and warm and loving and yet so horrible [laughs]."

Daniel Cosgrove has had a recurring on ABC hit Dirty Sexy Money He's been playing Freddy, Karen Darling's sulky fiancé.

So why on earth is the actor returning to Guiding Light on November 13, having recently signed a three-year deal? He's a family man.

A Connecticut resident, Cosgrove told TV Guide he jumped at the Guiding Light offer in order to work in New York City and be with his wife and three daugh­ters.

"I'm taking myself out of the L.A. game to a large degree," says the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star. "This is not the career path a lot of people would take, but reality strikes as you get older. I’m happy and at peace with this."

We gotta respect and admire that decision.

The actor's character, Bill Lewis (last seen in 2005), has been fired from Lewis Oil in Venezuela for shady deal­ings and will return to Springfield "with a huge chip on his shoulder," Cos­grove said. "He's become a real idiot, a rude and disre­spectful jerk."

Of course, by his sec­ond episode, he’ll be in the sack with pop tart Lizzie Spaulding (Marcy Rylan).

And not just any stage.

This As the World Turns actress is starring in another cabaret show, set to be held Saturday December 15 and Saturday December 22 at The Metropolitan Room in New York City. Show time is 5 p.m. on both dates.
