The actor joined the cast of Guiding Light in September 2004. He won the Outstanding Younger Actor award at the Daytime Emmys in 2006 and then exited in February 2007.

Over the summer, Pelphrey returned to the series for a three-day appearance, return that helped to wrap up some loose endings for his character... but apparently not enough.

An exact date for Pelphrey 's return has not yet been determined, nor has the duration of his stay.

Cady McClain Opens Up About As the World Turns Departure, All My Children Rumors

Cady McClain Picture Her final air date may be a mystery, but it's a known fact by now that Cady McClain is not coming back to As the World Turns.

She recently confirmed as much on her personal blog.

"I have sad news. [The Powers That Be] are wrapping up the Rosanna storyline early," McClain wrote. "I was slated to work through February, but the story took a dramatic turn that will alter that plan. I have always been open to all possibilities, even this one, but I will be sad to have to say goodbye so soon."

Fans were elated over the summer when McClain came on the show... but excitement soon died down as they grew dismayed by her actual story line. The actress talked about this, as well.

"I'm sorry the story on As the World Turns isn't grabbing you guys. I know a lot of thought goes into it, but I can't tell you more than that," McClain said. "I am just a gun for hire, and I don't have any say in the story."

With one departure set, however, rumors have been swirling that a return may now be in order. Might we see McClain back on All My Children? (Her character had been killed off by poisoned pancakes, always a tough way to go).

"I really am only the actor. I don't think [ABC] will ever bring me back, especially if they have removed the Dixie CHARACTER bio from the [official All My Children] website," McClain said. "It's over. It's all done. AMC is going to become something totally different than it once was. It will be all new, all different. Why? I can only conjecture."

Todd McKee Speaks on Return to The Bold and the Beautiful

Todd McKee PhotoIt's unclear how long Todd McKee will be back on The Bold and the Beautiful. But he did find time to speak with Soap Opera Digest on the subject at least...

Q: How was your visit to The Bold and the Beautiful?
Todd McKee: It was like returning to a dream. I'd remembered it as a dream from 17 years ago. Walking in, I was like, "This really was part of my life. This really did happen!" But they're all there, the same characters and actors.

Q: Except Donna and Felicia! What is it like working with a new pair?
McKee: It's actually weirder seeing the other actors, who have been here for 17 years. It's like, "Here we all are again!" Everyone's aged gracefully, but is a little older. I'm sure they thought the same about me.

Q: Have you adjusted to being back now?
McKee: Yes. It was so weird. Everything was exactly the same, yet I couldn't figure out how to get to the set! I walked those halls for two-and-a-half years, but I was completely lost. Then, after a while, it was like an old shoe that fit perfectly. I finally got my acting legs up and running, so I feel more comfortable.

Judith Chapman Dishes on Benefit Performance

Judith Chapman is excited about her latest project.

"It's a one-time benefit performance with an all-star soap cast," The Young and the Restless star told Soap Opera Digest.

Judith Chapman Photo"[They] include Christian LeBlanc, Vincent Irizarry, Michelle Stafford, Kristoff St. John, Greg Rikaart, Daniel Goddard and Emily O'Brien, John Callahan (ex-Edmund) from All My Children, and Ron Hale (Mike) from General Hospital. We’re doing a staged reading of The Trial of the Catonsville 9, the true story of a group of nuns, priests and laypeople who burned draft cards in protest of the Vietnam War in the late '60s."

Chapman took action after seeing The Actors' Gang's all-star reading of the play, which was led by Martin Sheen and Tim Robbins in Los Angeles this past August.

"It was such a moving story and it's timely 40 years later," she said.

A talk with Robbins later and Chapman was set on producing Catonsville — and raising some money, of course — with a star-studded cast of her peers.

"I've always had a fantasy of having an annual soap opera theater benefit, so this is the pilot project," she said. "Proceeds go to Kiva, an organization that facilitates micro-loans to small businesses in the developing world. These priests and nuns worked with the working poor around the country, so Kiva seemed like a natural choice."

The event promises to be entertaining, and if all goes well, may only be the first: "This is a play that could be taken around the country," Chapman added. "I love theater, and as Greg Rikaart put it, 'I’m going to feed my soul!'"
