Michael Tylo Laid to Rest; The Bold and the Beautiful Cast Says Goodbye

Hunter Tylo PicMichael Tylo was remembered Friday by more than 200 family and friends at a Los Angeles memorial.

"He liked to make me laugh," Hunter Tylo told mourners at the Church of the Hills at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. "He had a beautiful spirit."

The Bold and the Beautiful actress also remembered the sensitive side of her son, who was known as Mickey and tragically drowned last week.

"He could identify people who were wounded and hurt," she said and People magazine reported. "There was a young girl in our neighborhood who was crippled and she used to take a walk at the same time each day and Michael would wait outside everyday just to say hi to her."

Many of the cast and crew of The Bold and the Beautiful were in attendance, including executive producer Brad Bell and actors Susan Flannery, Jennifer Gareis, Katherine Kelly Lang and John McCook.

The set of the soap was shut down for the day.

The Young and the Restless Spoiler: Jack and Victor's Relationship

Peter Bergman PhotoWhen Victor rescued Jack from the Clear Springs building collapse on The Young and the Restless, it was equally awkward as it was heroic.

"Jack has to thank his worst enemy for saving his life," Peter Bergman, who plays Jack, told The New York Daily News.

"At this point, Jack has his own heroic status from sacrificing himself for a Newman [Nick], so Victor acknowledges that," says Bergman. "But it's hardly a coming together of enemies to bury the hatchet. It's a moment where Jack acknowledges that, yeah, he wouldn't be here if it weren't for Victor. And Victor acknowledges that, 'Yeah, you did something for my family, too.'"

As for any The Young and the Restless spoilers, Bergman does reveal it's back to business as usual next week: finger-pointing will reign supreme.

"Jack's status as hero is terribly short-lived," says the actor. "The great story of this collapse is going to be, who is responsible for it? The evidence starts to point to methane drilling. What Jack and Nikki and the company did was build on land that had large methane deposits underneath. They didn't realize the extent of the deposits - and then somebody else decided to start drilling."

Walt Willey Opens Up About All My Children Cast

This is pretty cool. Soap Opera Digest recently sat down with Walt Willey and asked him to comment on numerous All My Children cast members.

Here are a few excerpts from the feature:

Walt Willey Picture Jeff Branson (Jonathan): "Love Jeff Branson. I was so excited to get my schedule today and see we have the same three days off; maybe we'll finally get to go camping, which we've been talking about. He and I were thrown together in the Lily storyline and he was one of the only people who was willing to help me with that because Jack had a valid point: Why would any decent father let his girl run off with a murderer?

But of course, if you let that comment go, there's no story. They just kind of made me a crazy person and I would go to Jeff and say, ‘I don't know what to do with this stuff. Every fiber of my being is saying, ‘I can't say this line.' He would gladly give up lines — ‘Then let's kill them, then' — and we really, I think, made it work, so that everybody could keep their head up."

Thorsten Kaye (Zach): "I have indeed become fond of Thorsten Kaye. He's the closest thing I have to a friend in this studio, him and Jeff and Cameron Mathison. I love Thorsten. I've said it before, but Thorsten's the kind of guy who'll take a bullet for you and failing that, he'll raise your kids for you.

He's funny without being goofy. He's almost as funny as I am; maybe in 10 years he'll be as funny as I am. Nah, he'll never be as funny as I am. There's nothing I don't like about him, there really isn't."

Alicia Minshew (Kendall): "We constantly talk about going out, her and [beau] Richie, and we never do it because we're so busy. But that's the kind of friendship I evidently like, because that's the only kind of friendship I have! I don't have any high-maintenance friends. Alicia, I love her, I would do anything for her. We either laugh or cry when we're working together.

Cry because Jack's so nice to her — 'Oh, you're always so nice to my character' — or we laugh so hard that we have to stop tape. That happened a few times before we noticed it was always either 'boo hoo hoo' or 'ha ha ha' and we went, 'My god, we're lunatics! Can't we just have a normal scene?' I love Alicia."
