Read Jessica's One Life to Live Blog

Black and White BreeOver at the official One Life Live website, Jessica Buchanan Vega Brennan has posted her latest blog.

No, we don't mean the actress that portrays this vixen, Bree Williamson. We mean the actual character herself. Check it out:

It's been very calm and quiet on the home front--spooky quiet. I'm not complaining, but suspicious. Can you blame me? I haven't seen Jared for days, but I know he's around. The question is: what the hell is he up to? Nash hasn't really seen him, which means Nash can run the winery the way he wants.

Natalie, however, has been MIA and I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that she's dealing with Jared at work. The little I have spoken to her pretty much indicated she has had it up to HERE with Jared.  I couldn't get the whole story with all the yelling and the exasperation, but Natalie said something about her supervisor Jim, a neck massage, some quarterly report and strangling Jared.

My sister is a trouper; she's taking the brunt of Jared Banks, which leaves Nash and me in the clear,  but sooner or later, we'll have to deal with him. I'm going to use this time to formulate a plan: Get Rid of Jared Banks. And I might have an idea ...

Amanda Baker Speaks on All My Children Role

On October 8, Amanda Baker takes over the role of Babe Chandler from Alexa Havins.

Amanda Baker Pic The actress recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest about how she'd play this important part on All My Children.

“What I'm going to bring to the character might be a little bit of a different take, but I definitely wanted to get the characteristics down and stay true to who Babe really is,” she said.

Baker, also known for portraying student nurse Jolene Crowell on General Hospital: Night Shift, has worked on numerous television movies in the past. T include Hello Sister, Goodbye Lif and The Dead Will Tell. She also guest starred on One Tree Hill.

“I've always liked having a fixed schedule, and daytime actually provides that for a lot of actors. You can work during the day and know you're going to be out by 8:30 at the latest. You get your script a week beforehand. Night Shift was different because we shot all over the place. It was sporadic. The hours could be anywhere from 7 in the morning until 11 o'clock at night.

We were there all day, which was also a lot of fun. We actually all would hang out together. We got to become really close really quickly. But I certainly don't mind having set times. I think I'm really going to love that,” she said, comparing her new acting gig with her work on General Hospital: Night Shift.

So far, working with the cast and crew of All My Children has been a pleasant experience.

“Bobbie Eakes [Krystal] is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She welcomed me, and before we actually got up to tape she came by and said, ‘If you ever need anything, please let me know.' I felt a true connection with her right off the bat. That was very helpful, knowing she's going to be playing my mom,” she said of her first scene with her character's mother.

Get to Know a Soap Opera Star: Michael Graziadei

Michael Graziadei Young. Hot. German.

There are many adjectives that can be used to describe Michael Graziadei of The Young and the Restless.

With that in mind, here are a few fun facts about the actor:

  • He's the seventh actor to be cast in the role of Daniel (the sixth one taped episodes that never aired).
  • Has been playing the guitar for nine years.
  • Is learning to surf now that he lives in Los Angeles.

Graziadei once said, on attending the Daytime Emmy Awards:

"David Lago and Thad Luckinbill showed me around. We had a good time together. I was just trying to stay close by everybody and keep meeting as many people as I could. This was the first major event like this for me. I came out to New York once for New Year's Eve and once to screen-test for All My Children, so this was the first time I got to go and enjoy myself."
