Brian Kerwin will arrive on the scene of One Life to Live in late October.

The actor will create the role of Charie. Some veteran soap opera fans may remember the actor from his role as Greg Foster on The Young and the Restless back in 1976.

The halls of General Hospital are about to add a few fresh faces.

We'll start with, Bruce Weitz, who has been nabbed to play a character named Anthony Zacchara. The actor is best known for his portrayal of Sgt. Mick Belker on seven seasons of the ensemble police drama Hill Street Blues. More recently, Weitz has guest-starred on Grey's Anatomy.

He's scheduled to make his General Hospital appearance on October 12.

Next, Jay Pickett has traded in his Port Charles alter ego, Frank Scanlon, for the recurring part of Detective David Harper on General Hospital.

Pickett's appearance on General Hospital won't be his first. Back in March of last year, he filled in for a day as Lorenzo Alcazar, a role normally played by Ted King. For the latest role, expect to see Picket on October 9.

Lastly, Claire Coffee (pictured) will join General Hospital (as Nadine) on October 5.

Ronn Moss will be sitting down with John Edward, the world-renowned psychic medium and best-selling author, on John Edward Cross Country.

Catch The Bold and the Beautiful star on Saturday, October 27 on the WE network.

Bump... Set... Charity!

Winsor Harmon (Thorne Forrester) and Lesli Kaye (pictured, Felicia Forrester) will join fans and other celebrities at the 5th Annual Jayo Invitational Celebrity Pro-Am Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, October 7 in Pacific Palisades.

The Bold and the Beautiful stars will kick-off the day with instruction for children beginning at 10 a.m. The Pro-Am event will start at noon at Will Rogers State Beach. Proceeds from the Invitational will benefit the "Athletes Against Autism" organization.

• Alone with the mother of his only child, Jason (Steve Burton, pictured) outlines Sam’s sins, as well as his love for little Jake and his mother. He also makes sure Elizabeth understands that, while so many more people are aware of Jake’s paternity than either of them would like, including Sam, don't worry: Sam has no intention of blowing that secret out of the water and jeopardizing an innocent child.

• Lucky listens to Emily and Lulu as they talk about what to do about him and Elizabeth. Emily thinks he should cut his losses.

• Lucky (Greg Vaughan) is the one who rethinks bringing up divorce in the first place; so he and Elizabeth consider any possibility that their marriage can be salvaged. But there is none... therefore, the two of them go forward with dissolving their loveless sham of a union.

It's true: soap opera stars go on vacation just like everyone else.

Kassie De Paiva (Blair, One Life to Live): My family is going to Italy in August - to Venice. And, I’ve never been so I’m really looking to have some nice wine and great food. We’re staying for ten days and will be taking day trips all over northern Italy.

David Chisum (Miles, One Life to Live): I’m going to see family in Atlanta.

Kate Linder (Esther, The Young and the Restless): I have no idea, since I’m the celebrity spokesperson for ALS, and it takes up a great deal of time. My brother-in-law suffers from Lou Gerghig’s Disease and I am out there trying to raise awareness.

Brandon Buddy (Cole, pictured, One Life to Live): Maybe go back home to Texas.

Rachel Melvin (Chelsea, Days of Our Lives): I never go on vacation. I take after my parents. I’m actually moving and I’m working quite a bit so I’m not going to be able to go anywhere.

Gina Tognoni (Dinah, Guiding Light): We are actually leaving first thing in the morning for Riviera Maya, in Mexico, about 30 miles south of Cancun.

You may have seen every episode of The Young and the Restless that's ever aired. Yet, despite this almost inhuman effort, you might still have a few questions about the popular soap opera.

A: Not exactly, but The Young and the Restless grande dame did a brief crossover to sister show The Bold and the Beautiful in 2005.

Q: Is Thad Luckinbill (pictured) related to actor Laurence Luckinbill, who was once married to Lucille Ball's daughter, Lucie Arnaz?
A: Yes, the men are distant cousins. Laurence Luckinbill was also once wed to Robin Strasser (Dorian, One Life to Live), which makes Thad also related to Strasser and Luckinbill's sons, Nicholas and Benjamin.

Q: Are Eileen Davidson (Ashley) and Doug Davidson (Paul) related?
A: No, their common last name is just a coincidence.
