All My Children Picture: Greenlee Goes Biker

You gotta hand it to Sabine Singh. The actress makes one heck of a biker babe!

In a recent All My Children story line, in orderto help out Aidan with his mission to uncover Annie’s brother’s location, Greenlee (Singh) dressed up as a biker chick for her “disguise.” And the actress sure went all out:

Check out the corn rows below, the fake tattoos, the tiny top and the hot blue leather pants. She even sported an accent for the part. Now that's dedication...

A Few Words from Sebastian Roche

Soap Opera Digest recently sat down with Sebastian Roche.

The General Hospital actor opened up about his experiences in Europe and coming to America...

Soap Opera Weekly: What was it like growing up in Europe, particularly in such a glamorous place as Paris?
Sebastian Roche: My dad was fairly well-off, so I was raised in a very comfortable environment: the very nice suburbs of Paris. It was a very idyllic life. I also spent nearly all my summers in Britain, and Christmas, too, because my grandparents lived there. I adored them and I adored going to Britain. I was a major Anglophile.

Sebastian Roche My brothers and I were raised knowing both languages, French and English. My dad was born in Austria, educated in Britain, and then went back to France. My mom was born in England, but raised in Egypt and Malaysia. We were a globetrotter family.

Weekly: Why did the family decide to travel the world for six years?
Roche: When my dad hit 40 he quit everything. He sold the house and bought the boat and went off sailing the world. I was on that boat from age 12 to 18. We didn't actually go around the world. We went pretty much from France through the whole Mediterranean basin. We went to Ireland, first. We also went to coast of Africa, South America and the Caribbean.

Weekly: It sounds like an enviable life for a teenager. Was it?
Roche: Yes, it was. I wanted to have friends and girlfriends, [but] it's pretty difficult to get a girlfriend when you're combing the Atlantic (laughs). But what I experienced during those six years was the most extraordinary thing. It shaped my life. It provided the defining moments of my life.

Weekly: What would you cite as some of your fondest memories from your travels?
Roche: There were so many things: Crossing the Atlantic was pretty amazing — being at sea for three weeks with no land [in sight], sailing and catching a fish every day, and using your mind to be inventive. We had nothing on the boat but books and music. I also developed a huge passion for spear fishing.

I would go every morning and every weekend in the cold. I'd go underwater and swim with sharks and stingrays. I would say the Tobago Keys in the Grenadines was one of my favorite places. You would literally dive overboard with your mask on and you could see 100-200 yards underwater. It was probably some of the most beautiful coral I've ever seen I my life.

Weekly: How did you end up "landing" in the United States?
Roche: I was going through a breakup with my girlfriend and I thought, "I'm going to go travel to the States." I ended up in New York, Los Angeles and all over the place. While I was there, I met with some casting directors through a casting director friend of mine in Paris. They were very interested in me... so I decided to do it. The next year, 1992, I came over and I have stayed ever since.

Justine Cotsonas Talks About As the World Turns

Justine Cotsonas is fairly new to As the World Turns. She recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest. Here's the interview:

Justine Cotsonas and Chris HeuislerSoap Opera Digest: What other jobs have you had before this?
Justine Cotsonas: Actually, right now I'm a live-in au pair, so I'm doing both things at the same time. Before this, I was a hostess at a research marketing facility where they held focus groups. I graduated in January and then I booked a commercial, and then this.

Digest: What commercial?
Cotsonas: It's an international spot for the new Motorola RAZR2. It was kind of amazing because it was directed by Michel Gondry, who directed Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. That was my first professional job — it was the craziest thing ever. I feel very lucky.

Digest: What was he like?
Cotsonas: He has this huge imagination. I think I had a little crush on him [laughs] — a cute French man and he's a genius. He was very focused during the shoot. It was a commercial, but it was almost like a film production, and all of the special effects were done on set. It was a very crazy, creative world. I didn't interact with him that much, but he was a wonderful man, very nice. He gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek when I was done and I giggled and blushed.

Digest: What was your family's reaction when you got the As the World Turns job?
Cotsonas: Oh, my gosh! They've always been extremely supportive ever since I was little, but it was such a weird time. My second callback was the day after my birthday and the day of my yaya's — my Greek grandmother — funeral. I actually rushed from her funeral on Long Island to my callback. I held myself together somehow. I thought, "I did the best I could. Now it's time to go home and mourn."

It was really kind of surreal. My dad had driven me to the studio and literally four minutes after I left, I got the call that I booked it. And my dad started screaming. He hit the ceiling in the car. Everybody was screaming and crying, so happy. My mom told everybody; my grandparents told all of Florida, I'm sure.

The Dancing with the Stars floor, that is.

A Trip Down Memory Lane with Alison Sweeney

Alison Sweeney has been appearing on Days of Our Lives since she was 16.

16!

Those years have formulated countless memories inside the actress. She shared her five favorite days with Soap Opera Digest:

Alison Sweeney Picture1992: VETERAN'S DAY
"My first day on-set! Working with Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman), Deidre Hall (Marlena) and Drake Hogestyn (John) was such an incredible introduction to life in Salem. I was so lucky to have my first storyline be with them, because I got to learn from the best.

I learned so much from the three of them about what we do at Days of Our Lives how to act, hit your marks, say your lines, know your light, and learn all the technical things you need to know to be on a soap opera. I still think back now about all the lessons I learned from them the first months working on the show."

1993, 1994: LOVE THAT LUCAS
"Any scene with Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) over the years. Where do I start? From the photo lab scene to hiding in the cave from a tiger and to our real-life 13-year friendship, bonding as parents and as Clipper fans. We share courtside season tickets."

2005: FRANKIE FOREVER
"Meeting Billy Warlock for the first time and having him come back on the show as Frankie. I always loved Frankie and Jennifer. I wasn't here when Billy was on Days of Our Lives before, but I was always such a fan. It was wonderful to find out he is just as charming in person as he is in character."

2005: WHAT A TRIP!
Going to the Rolling Stones concert with Bryan, Christie (Clark, ex-Carrie) and Austin (Peck, ex-Austin). It was such a fun trip. We all took a bus together, the whole crew, to the Anaheim Angels' stadium. It was so much fun. It felt like a school trip, because we all got in this bus and went together. Then, the concert was so fantastic. I'd never seen the Rolling Stones perform live. They were amazing to see and we had these killer seats. It was a great experience. The music was great and it was a really fun show."

2006: ABS FAB
"Only because it's still fresh in my mind, my first scene with James Scott (EJ). James opened the door in a towel. Then, Austin Peck (Austin) entered into the scene, and he was also shirtless. I looked at both men and realized how incredibly lucky I am to have such a fabulous job."
