• Though he was named after a Thaddeus, Luckinbill's name is just Thad.

• The actor is friends with Brian Presley (formerly of Port Charles), who he knows from the University of Oklahoma.

• He's distantly related to Lucie Arnaz's husband, actor Laurence Luckinbill. Laurence Luckinbill was once married to Robin Strasser (Dorian, One Life to Live), and has two sons with her, Benjamin and Nicholas.

Luckinbill once told Soap Opera Digest:
